00:00I want to warn the country of some things that give me great concern.
00:03Joe Biden gave his farewell address.
00:05He had a warning for the American people as he leaves office.
00:08He believes that there's a dangerous concentration of wealth in the hands of a few.
00:12And that's a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultra-wealthy people.
00:17An oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally
00:22threatens our entire democracy.
00:24And he's talking about billionaires that supported Donald Trump's candidacy, like Elon Musk,
00:29for example.
00:30And he's also calling out the tech industrial complex and saying the platform, social media
00:36platform should not allow false information to spread freely online.
00:40I'm equally concerned about the potential rise of a tech industrial complex that could
00:45pose real dangers for our country as well.
00:50Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation.
00:56So what does this all add up to?
00:57Joe Biden hearkened back to a time more than 100 years ago when robber barons had a similar
01:02concentration of wealth and power.
01:04And he said that laws were passed that made sure that there was a level playing field.
01:09Everyone's entitled to a fair shot.
01:12Not a guarantee, but just a fair shot.
01:14An even playing field.
01:15He called to the American people to stand up for their rights and said that it's their
01:21turn to stand guard.
01:23Now it's your turn to stand guard.
01:26May you all be the keeper of the flame.
01:28May you keep the faith.
01:30I love America.
01:32You love it too.
01:34God bless you all.
