00:00So I'm really excited to talk to you today about the 2025 Ram heavy-duty pickup lineup.
00:09A lot of new features, including an all-new front fascia, LED headlights, the new high-output
00:15Cummins turbo diesel engine producing 1,075 pound-feet of torque, a refreshed interior
00:20including a 14.5-inch screen, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, all of these combined for
00:26a best-in-class packaging of features for customers all over the heavy-duty spectrum.
00:31From truck customers that just need to get the job done in a utilitarian value package
00:36to the ultra-high luxury tow rigs that are pulling horse trailers and fifth-wheel campers
00:41and boats to someone who needs the off-road capability as well as the towing capability.
00:46And we have the right heavy-duty truck for you.
00:48Main thing we've changed coming into the 2025 model year for heavy-duty is the 6.7-liter
00:53Cummins turbo diesel engine.
00:55It's more powerful.
00:56It's cleaner, more efficient, and more refined.
00:59With that power comes better acceleration and performance.
01:03In terms of towing and payload, we're really enabled by more horsepower from the engine.
01:07We're enabled by a new eight-speed transmission that allows the ability to really reach these
01:12top, top levels of towing and payload in terms of pounds, but it goes about it much more
01:17efficiently and much more smoothly in terms of operation.
01:21Overall, we've made great improvements to the engines, to the transmission, to the driveline,
01:26to our ability to have adaptable power, whether that's mechanical in terms of a PTO or electrical
01:31in terms of an onboard power panel.
01:33All that comes together into a truck that will really serve the customer better.
01:38It will meet this built-to-serve expectation.
01:40It'll do it in a way that is more capable and smoother and more refined in its operation.
01:46One really cool thing about being a designer in a Ram studio is you get to design big trucks,
01:51and after that, you get to design even bigger trucks.
01:54One really cool thing that we did with the front end here is we made sure that there
02:00was a connection and continuity with our light-duty pickup trucks.
02:03For example, our split-quad LED headlamp was derived from the Ram Rev.
02:09Also, we pulled in the REM that's positioned high in the chest, giving the truck a very
02:15bold and proud presence on the road.
02:18Also, there's some grill elements that tie and integrate into the headlamp and give the
02:23front end a very wide contemporary read.
02:26And on the back of the vehicle, we have a brand-new tail lamp design, and what we wanted
02:30to achieve here is a nice connection to the front of the vehicle, to the rear of the vehicle,
02:35to the front of the vehicle, to the rear of the vehicle, so the headlamp design and
02:39tail lamp design are our seamless integration.
02:42We have two configurations, a base configuration and a premium configuration, and that's what
02:47we see here.
02:48There's a lot of new things, and probably the biggest thing you'll notice when you look
02:52at the interior is the screens.
02:55That's the biggest change from the old truck.
02:58We've got the 12.3-inch digital cluster on the driver's side, but we also have the new
03:0414.5-inch touchscreen display in the center for the radio, and then our class-exclusive
03:1110.25-inch passenger touchscreen display.
03:15The screens are really where the customer benefits from all the technology in the truck,
03:21one of them being the cameras.
03:23And my favorite feature with the cameras is the blind spot view that pops up when you're
03:29using the turn signal.
03:31We have the new dual wireless charger in the center console, and then also we have
03:37the mirror control on the door trim panels to help operate the tow mirrors and all their
03:43functions.
03:44I feel that we've done our job to raise the benchmark for not only pickup truck interiors,
03:50but luxury pickup truck interiors.
03:53These updated features in combination with our class-exclusive RamBox and our class-exclusive
03:58auto-leveling air suspension, as well as our rear coil-link suspension, that provides
04:03an incredible unladen ride.
04:05These all combine to make the best Ram heavy-duty ever.
