00:00Ma'am, good to see you. Congratulations on your movie.
00:02The movie is running great.
00:04It has crossed almost 150 crores up till now.
00:06How are you feeling after the success of the film?
00:10I am feeling very good that our film has created such a big mark in the fastest pace.
00:19And everybody is congratulating me that Urvashi,
00:24you have become the first outsider Bollywood actress of 2025
00:28to enter into the 100 crore club in such a short span of time.
00:32It's just been 3 days.
00:34Our film has proved to be the biggest blockbuster of the Sankranti.
00:38So I would like to thank everyone who watched the film and appreciated it so much.
00:44And not just like Dabiri Dibiri,
00:47but the character in my film is of a police officer, a cop.
00:51And the action stunts were done by me.
00:55There is no body double.
00:57There is a particular sequence in which I am fighting with 10-15 men.
01:04I have to fight with them alone.
01:06So in that, real guns have been used.
01:11And you will get to see a lot of kicks.
01:14So it is a very action-oriented role.
01:17Along with that, everybody is appreciating the Telugu dialogue delivery,
01:20an on-screen presence.
01:22And from the beginning, I had promised myself that I have to pay attention to versatility.
01:29Be it with the range of characters that I want to do and I am able to do.
01:34That I have to play different kinds of roles from the beginning.
01:37I don't have to do it the same way.
01:38And I am really very happy that everyone appreciates the acting skills and on-screen presence
01:46in 70mm.
01:50And there is a legendary superstar, Balakrishna Garu.
01:55He has so many fans.
01:57He is a God of Mass.
01:59Finally, I can become a Goddess of Mass.
02:02And ma'am, if we talk about the screen presence,
02:04you have shared the screen with one of the stalwarts in the Telugu cinema, Balakrishna sir.
02:09Along with that, Bobby Deol has been part of this movie.
02:12Salman is part of this movie.
02:13So how was the experience of working with him?
02:16You know, sharing the screen with such great actors.
02:19So how was your experience throughout the movie?
02:20The experience was amazing.
02:23Because this is Bobby Deol's Telugu acting debut.
02:25And this is my Telugu acting debut.
02:27And everybody, like you show in the media,
02:32the shockest, longest, biggest age gap between the co-stars.
02:36Yes, it is.
02:38I will not deny that it is not.
02:40It is the biggest age gap of Indian cinema.
02:44But along with that, when Sridevi ma'am, Sridevi Garu had worked with Balakrishna sir's father, N.T. Ramarao,
02:53who is the Telugu's biggest superstar, legendary superstar.
02:57A film was released in 1978-1979.
03:01So even his age gap was this much.
03:03That film was also a hit.
03:05And our film was also a blockbuster super hit.
03:08So I think people got acceptance.
03:11And when you talk about age gaps,
03:13everyone is saying that there is a huge age gap.
03:15So in that film also,
03:17Balakrishna sir's father, N.T. Ramarao, and Sridevi ma'am had the same age gap.
03:24So everybody is appreciating it.
03:27And it is my good fortune that
03:29within 11 months,
03:31I could work with Chiranjeevi Garu,
03:33Pawan Kalyan Garu, and Balakrishna.
03:36I have worked with all of them.
03:38So I am really very happy that
03:40they have such a diverse mass fan following.
03:42I have a very loyal global fan base.
03:46Not just in India,
03:48but be it in France, Paris, Middle East, America.
03:52But when a movie becomes a super duper blockbuster,
03:57it solidifies the mass appeal of people.
04:02And I am very happy to cater to the masses.
04:04There are so many people who are fans,
04:06and they have also seen the film.
04:08So it kind of helps in increasing the fan following.
04:11Ma'am, if we talk about Bollywood cinema,
04:14and South Indian cinema,
04:16often things are compared,
04:20be it by actors or film producers.
04:23So is this comparison right?
04:25And if I ask you one difference,
04:27what do you think is the major difference
04:30between working in Bollywood and South Indian industry?
04:35Yes, our work is the same.
04:39It depends.
04:41From the beginning,
04:43I had promised myself that
04:45I only want to work with visionary filmmakers.
04:49The director of this film, K S Ravindra Bobby ji,
04:52has also had a very good track record of hit films.
04:55This is the biggest blockbuster hit of his career.
04:58Balakrishna Garu,
05:00all three of his films have been bumper blockbusters.
05:04But Daco Maharaj has got the biggest opening.
05:07So this has become the highest crossing film of our career.
05:14Think about it,
05:16it was not released in Hindi and Tamil.
05:18It was released in US and Telugu.
05:20It has got such a big bumper opening.
05:22If it had been released here,
05:24it would have crossed 500 crores.
05:26And ma'am,
05:29this is the time when many movies have clashed.
05:33Whether it is Fateh, Game Changer,
05:35Emergency or Azad.
05:37Game Changer is a South Indian film that has been released.
05:41And during that time,
05:43your film has crossed 150 crores.
05:46Kiara Advani is also a part of Game Changer.
05:49You have also crossed her in terms of film collection.
05:53How did you feel about her reaction?
05:56I am reading a lot of tweets related to this.
06:04Shankar sir is a very celebrated director.
06:06I have worked with him in Indian 2.
06:11I met him too.
06:13He is definitely on my wish list.
06:15But I think the whole game has changed.
06:18Because obviously that film was also very hyped.
06:21I am reading a lot of tweets.
06:23But I think if Kiara Advani's Game Changer has been a disaster,
06:27and my film Daku Maharaj has become a blockbuster,
06:31then it is not my mistake.
06:33I feel why these tweets are happening.
06:36But at the same time,
06:38I am extremely thankful to everyone
06:40for watching this film Daku Maharaj and appreciating it.
06:43And ma'am, before leaving,
06:45any special message you would like to give your fans
06:48related to Daku Maharaj?
06:50What would be your message to those who haven't watched this film yet?
06:54My message would be,
06:56I love you all.
06:58The way I am getting so much love from South India and US,
07:01and all over India for my performance,
07:04I am extremely thankful for that.
07:07And people,
07:09like we are talking about Dabdi Dibdi,
07:12it is very important to understand that
07:15this film is a very high budget song.
07:18It is the mass song of our film.
07:21I will term it as a mass song, not an item,
07:24because the girl is not dancing alone.
07:27There is a hero also dancing with the boy,
07:29and he is also dancing with so much power and energy.
07:32So, the representation of the king and queen is so much in this.
07:36If you see their look,
07:38they are sitting in their throne,
07:40I am also sitting in my throne,
07:42in the song,
07:43different looks are shown much larger than life.
07:46I have been shown as a king,
07:48and I have been shown as a queen and princess.
07:51The styling and design of the film,
07:53is done by Gavin C. McGuill,
07:55which is done very well.
07:57So, I would say that
07:59the presentation is much larger than life.
08:01It is a very high budget song,
08:03maybe of around 15 crores,
08:05that song is Dabdi Dibdi.
08:08So, everybody is talking about the song,
08:11but I also know that
08:13there are so many marks on my body,
08:15after shooting that song,
08:17which are still there.
08:19I have Dabdi Dibdi marks on my body while dancing,
08:21because the costumes were very heavy.
08:23And you must have seen the rehearsals of BTSP choreography,
08:26which I was doing.
08:28So, it's not very easy dancing,
08:30but a lot of tribal moments have been used.
08:33It is according to the film's genre.
08:35We have used a lot of Afro dance moves in it.
08:38Jungle, tribal inspired dancing,
08:40because our film's genre is like that.
08:42So, it won't be right to judge so soon.
08:44People should go and watch Raku Maharaj,
08:46then they will understand what the song is.
08:49And until they see the whole song,
08:51then they will realize how much effort and hard work
08:53has gone behind this song.
08:56And finally, ma'am,
08:57a short message to your fans from yourself.
09:00A short message to my fans that I love you all.
09:03And before leaving,
09:05I would like to thank our director,
09:07Mr. Bobby Kohli,
09:09I have worked very hard for the last two years
09:11for this film, for the screenwriting,
09:13for the screenplay.
09:15So, hats off to him.
09:17And also our producers,
09:19Sitara Entertainments,
09:21Naga Vamshi Garu,
09:22for backing up such an amazing project
09:24and always being there to support us.
