Tenby RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat launched yesterday (Thursday, January 16) to respond to reports of two surfers in difficulty.
The all-weather lifeboat was launched shortly before 1pm following a report of 2 surfers in difficulty in the Burry Holmes area.
As the lifeboat was passing DZ7, the Coastguard confirmed that they had received confirmation that the surfers had managed to get ashore safely and no longer required assistance.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station, arriving at 1.30pm.
