00:38Resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives to induct Carlos Edriel P. Yulo to the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame in
00:46Artistic Gymnastics for making history as the first Filipino double gold Olympian.
00:50Pursuant to Republic Act 8757
00:53enacted in 1999, the proposal seeks to officially recognize
00:59Yulo in the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame. According to Section 2 of R88757,
01:06Filipino athletes who have won gold medals in the Sallies Asian Games,
01:10silver or gold medals in the Asian Games or other regional sports events, and any medal in the Olympic Games are
01:18eligible for the Hall of Fame. Yulo's induction into the Hall of Fame will serve as an inspiration
01:24for Filipino athletes aspiring to achieve success in their respective sports.
