00:00Of course, we'll be in Pharrelladelphia this time, Sean McVay, of course there's going to be some adjustments, but we got to play our game.
00:06I think there's been a lot of growth from our group since then. I think that was a very humbling night.
00:10I think first and foremost, you look at yourself as a coaching staff and you say, what can we do to make sure that our players are in some better spots?
00:16And then what kind of sense of urgency is going to be required in a day in and day out basis to be able to continuously improve?
00:23There's a reason why they are where they are. They're an excellent football team.
00:26There's no weaknesses that they have. They're well coached. They have great personnel.
00:30They play a certain style of football that is really conducive to being able to win as a team, and that's why they've won so many games.
00:37And so we have to do a great job of trying to be able to limit some of the opportunities, be able to get off the grass on third down.
00:44You know, the possessions end up being limited, but obviously the run game is a big factor.
00:50Some different things to try to limit some of those vertical scenes, but they've got a bunch of different ways they can make you pay.
00:56I mean, what was it that they taped that in the scene from the saw? I mean, honestly, where were they in a laundry room?
01:05I mean, what was going on there? I heard people screaming for their lives. I heard dryers going. Could they have been in a worse place?
01:11Look, they got their hands full here. Philly's good. There's no denying it. Their defense is sick. They're at home. Stripper poles and free brisket.
01:21I mean, it is all happening in Philly. They're going to be hard to beat in that building.
01:27They just don't lose there. And the key for me is this guy Stafford.
01:33I just think if he can be standing up, not be on his ass, be free to pass the ball, to get rid of the ball, not to be rushed and be in trouble all the time.
01:45Because, you know, they're going to come at him and, you know, obviously their defense has been phenomenal.
01:52They haven't been giving up points at all. They cannot allow Saquon Barkley to have a 255. That's for sure.
01:59And they can't allow him to have one, let alone two 70 yard touchdown runs.
02:03They have to stop the run and they have to let Stafford do his thing.
02:08If Stafford has time to throw the ball, the Rams are going to be in the game because they got great receivers.
02:13They do got great receivers, and that is one of the things that will hopefully carry them through.
02:19Let's go to Hertz next. Now, Hertz came back last week. He had missed a few weeks with the concussion.
02:25The stats didn't look great. He did not have a Jalen Hertz type of game.
02:30As he's going to tell you here, he does not care about stats. He cares about winning.
02:35Looks different. Every game is different. Like I said, I think you guys need to understand that I don't play the game for anything other than to win.
02:45And my role in each game will be different. And the approach in each game is different.
02:50And, you know, you just want to go out there and do your job and take advantage of opportunities, obviously.
02:57And I think some things are magnified a little bit more because there's less opportunity in certain areas.
03:02But ultimately, it's about winning the game. You know, we're talking about playoff football.
03:08I mean, let's see. Look, I think, you know, for me, without a doubt, Stafford's a better quarterback than Hertz.
03:14So let's see if Stafford can go to Philadelphia and perform at the highest level.
03:20He's done it everywhere else. He's 5-1 in the playoffs. He's a December to February quarterback.
03:27He's been 18-3 in those months. I mean, that's crazy. He's got a Super Bowl ring. That's crazy.
03:34He's got a brilliant coach. They got a great defense. How can they not show up for this game?
03:41I mean, honestly, this is enormous. Show up and do your thing.
03:46And Philly, it sounds to me like what I've heard all week is that this is just like going through the motions for them.
03:53That this is just a piece of cake. They just go out, do their thing, let Barkley run the ball, play defense and win the game.
04:02Easy peasy. That's all I've heard. It's just easy work for the Eagles. Yeah, I don't think so.
04:08I do not think so. This is going to be a nightmare for them because the Rams can flat out play.
04:15They kick the Vikings ass. They are winning games. They are not allowing points.
04:23Now, there's been a lot of, of course, we like to give numbers on both sides.
04:27And yes, Stafford playoffs, January Rams has been good.
04:31There is a Matthew Stafford outdoors in the rain and snow, which, by the way, they're expecting three to five inches of snow during game time of the Eagles and the Rams on Sunday for this game at the link.
04:44Stafford one and eight with a 54 percent completion percentage, 14 Tunney's, 11 picks.
04:50I will give you one caveat to that. He does have a 500 yard passing game in a cold weather under 30 degree game in Green Bay once.
04:59So it's not like Stafford has been around for a long time. He's got a lot of guys, as I said to you yesterday, that have plenty of outdoor cold snow experience.
05:12Kyron Williams, Cooper Cup, Puka, et cetera. I'm not worried about it here.
05:18Now, I'm not sure that they win. I'd love to see them win, but I'm not sure that they win.
05:24But six and a half in a game where, as I've said to you all week, better coach, better quarterback and could be a bit of a slog with the weather.
05:33I'll take the six and a half. Scotty.
05:36I'm still with you there. And it's, you know, obviously very dangerous.
05:41I've seen, you know, really, frankly, very few people, if none at all, that are taking these picks that we're rolling out that the Texans and the commanders and the Rams.
05:55I have seen 100 percent pure the exact opposite play on every single television show, every newspaper I've read.
06:05And I believe it or not, still read newspapers every day of my life.
06:09No one else does. I do. I read them every day and all I see is everything is the favorites.
