00:00In West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha, three cyber thieves were caught by the police of Jamtara Cyber Tharang.
00:11The police have arrested two cyber thieves from Jamtara, near the developed Parbat Bihar.
00:20The arrested cyber thieves are Vipash Das, Swapna Das and Vikram Das.
00:25The police have also arrested eight mobile phones, two ATM cards and a motorcycle.
00:32Raghavendra Sharma, a well-known IPA expert, told us that the arrested cyber thieves used to post ads on Facebook to get credit cards.
00:42When they were contacted by people, they used to send messages on WhatsApp and use e-wallet to carry out cyber theft.
00:52When we went to Parbat Bihar, near Jamtara, we met some people involved in cyber crime.
01:01The names of the cyber criminals are Deepak Das, 22 years old, Somnath Das, 20 years old and Vipan Das, 19 years old.
01:13These people used to post ads on Facebook to get credit cards.
01:18They used to get screen sharing access to their mobile phones.
01:22They used to transfer money from their credit cards to their wallets.
01:32This is the type of fraud they used to do.
01:36They used to work mainly in West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
01:42We have arrested eight mobile phones, 14 SIM cards, two ATM cards and a motorcycle.
01:55The investigation is still going on.
