Auto Expo 2025: Eicher has unveiled the new Intercity Coach EV bus at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This electric bus is available in two variants - Seater (52 seats) & Sleeper (36 berth). The model also features a 400kWh battery pack, which is good for a range of 300kms.

00:00Hey guys and welcome to DriveSpark, I am Pramit and we are at the AYESHA stall where we are
00:09looking at this intercity coach and we have Mr. Salil Gopal Krishnan with us.
00:15So yes sir, please tell us a little about this bus that we have over here.
00:20So this is our 13.5 meter intercity coach which mainly focuses on intercity applications.
00:26So basically we have two variants for the bus, one is the seater variant and another
00:29is the sleeper variant.
00:31For the seater variant, we have 52 plus D seating options with pushback seats and for
00:35sleeper we have 36 plus D sleeping beds.
00:38So this bus is equipped with a 235 kilowatt motor with 400 kilowatt hours of battery capacity
00:46and this bus can go up to 300 kilometers in a single charge with opportunity charging
00:50we can go up to 600 kilometers per day.
00:53And this bus is the first in the market from AYESHA that is on based on 13.5 meter monocoque
00:58platform.
00:59So all this is all from the latest offering from AYESHA Motors for the electric buses
01:04segment.

01:09So as you can see over here, let me just give you a quick overlook of the bus.
01:12So at the front end, you get these projector, one projector, one high beam and that's for
01:16the indicator.
01:17Then you have your fog lights and you have the EV badging plus you have two wipers over
01:21here that obviously go in the opposite direction you have big ORVMs.
01:25This is a pretty long bus to see and obviously as he mentioned all the details.
01:32So charging facility and everything on a full charge.
01:36And if we come at the rear section, we will notice that we have these taillights and obviously
01:43you have a camera on top as well.
01:45So full air conditioning bus, it's an intercity bus and I think let me just take you inside.
01:53You can see over here that is the driver's seat and that is how the seating arrangement
01:59looks like.
02:00We have some luggage compartment on the top and it is a pretty pretty long bus however
02:06the seats look very very comfortable.
02:08If you just see over here and it's got your dedicated armrests and everything and this
02:13is the driver's seat along with the driver's cockpit.
02:16So those are the information that you will get from here and once again this is an all
02:21electric intercity bus and that is your gear lever.
02:25And obviously this is I'm assuming for the conductor or the person who is travelling
02:30along with the driver.
02:32This seat can be completely folded and that is how once again the seating set up of the
02:38entire bus looks like and I'm assuming this is a hydraulic door.
