00:00All right.
00:01Rest of the NFL coaching carousel, we just mentioned the Bears.
00:04So I guess that's a story, Georgia, we're going to have to keep an eye on this week
00:07as to whether or not Tomlin wants to be there or not, because he's got a no trade clause.
00:12And this does potentially open up the door for now other teams to make these calls as
00:16if they didn't already.
00:17I know Adam Schefter is reporting this, but teams know whether or not somebody has an
00:22NFL trade clause.
00:23We are maybe the public just finding this out.
00:26But of course, everybody else knows Jaguars, Cowboys, your Cowboys, Raiders, Jets and Saints.
00:33So we have six teams there that are looking for new head coaches.
00:37I think by the time we do the show next week, one or two, we're going to scratch off the
00:41board.
00:42But there's certainly a lot of good situations to get into when you consider, I mean, the
00:48Jets are in New York.
00:49I mean, it's a I know what they say about the owner and all that.
00:51I don't care.
00:52I mean, it's a great market.
00:53It's a great market in the country.
00:54You know, Raiders, I know they keep firing their coaches, but also they're selling out
00:59every game in Las Vegas.
01:00It's a brand new, fresh start, new GM, all of that.
01:03Bears have the franchise quarterback.
01:05Unfortunately, George, I think that your Dallas Cowboys may be the worst situation of them
01:10all because you don't get to pull any strings.
01:14The Jets are probably the worst situation, but the Cowboys are up there because no one
01:18wants to work with Jerry.
01:19All right.
01:20Jerry's out.
01:21What are you going to do?
01:22And Jerry's going to milk this, by the way.
01:23He, I agree.
01:24You will get one this week, maybe two, but still teams may have to wait to interview
01:28certain people, you know, so after next week's game and that bye week for the Super Bowl.
01:33So that's going to hurt.
01:34Especially if you have a solid team like Detroit wins, but then you can't interview Ben Johnson
01:37or you think Washington's going to win, or then you can't interview Cliff Kingsbury.
01:41You know, so they may have to wait here, but Jerry's going to milk this.
01:44He's going to milk this until every little drop he can get out of this.
01:49So Dallas is not announcing anybody this week here.
01:52You know, Sam, a man behind the glass, was telling us he thinks Jacksonville is the best
01:55opportunity.
01:56I would have to agree because, listen, whether or not you think Trevor Lawrence is great
02:01or not great, they play in the AFC South, all right, the easiest division, right?
02:06I'm not knocking it.
02:07It just is.
02:08You're not worried about Pat Mahomes.
02:09You're not worried about Josh Allen.
02:11All right.
02:12You're not worried about Jalen Hurts, or in this case, Jaden Daniels, right, in the NFC
02:16East here.
02:17So there's not much going on in the South here outside of the Houston Texans that to
02:20worry about here.
02:21So I think Jacksonville may be the best opportunity here, plus you have an owner that wants to
02:24win and is involved, but not overly involved.
02:28The problem with Jacksonville is going to be with GM, Trent Baalke.
02:30I don't see how a legitimate head coach who has other options is going to want to deal
02:35with Baalke.
02:36Yeah, I agree with you.
02:38I think all of those situations definitely in play into the coming week and to me.
02:44I mentioned the Raiders, George, as a really good spot.
02:47The other thing of all those teams that we just showed you, yes, there definitely is
02:52some pressure in Chicago and Jacksonville, no question, to win right away.
02:57No pressure like the one in Dallas.
02:58You can't be the head coach of the Cowboys in year one and win five or six games because
03:03you're going to be a one and done coach in the National Football League in Dallas.
