00:38Now employees can easily transfer their EPF account.

00:42Actually, under the recent change, EPFO has made it very easy to transfer the Provident Fund when changing jobs.

00:48And now when changing jobs, the rules of transferring the Provident Fund to members through old or new employers have been abolished.

00:56In some cases, the need for employer interference will be eliminated and the transfer process will speed up.

01:01After that, the members will have the capacity to transfer directly to the EPFO portal.

01:06The easy process will increase clarity and will reduce the dependency on the employer.

01:10After October 1, 2017, the employer's interference is no longer there for the member ID associated with the UN and Aadhaar.

01:18Before October 1, 2017, it is necessary to have the same name, date of birth, and gender on both accounts for transfer related to Aadhaar and member ID related to the UN.

01:30Members can be transferred between different UN member IDs,

01:34provided that at least one UAN has been allotted before October 1, 2017 and is associated with the same Aadhaar number.

01:42This is only applicable when the name, date of birth, and gender are the same in all member IDs.

01:48Now if you talk about how you can link your Aadhaar,

01:52then first go to the EPFO member e-seva website,

01:55log in using your UAN, password, and CAPTCHA,

01:59go to the Manage menu and select KYC option,

02:02now check the box for Aadhaar,

02:04enter your Aadhaar number and name of 12 digits,

02:07as shown on your Aadhaar card,

02:09click on save to submit the information for verification,

02:12your Aadhaar details will be cross-checked with the UIDAI record,

02:16after verification, your Aadhaar will be successfully connected to your EPF account.
