Two of the three family members who perished in the early Friday (Jan 17) morning fire in Ulu Tiram, Johor have been laid to rest.

After a prayer ceremony, Ng Geok Choo, 63, and her son Lee Chiw Yong (sic), 30, were cremated at a memorial park in Ulu Tiram at 1pm on Sunday (Jan 19).

00:24flames engulfed their house in Jalan Limau Manis, Kampung Orin, on Friday morning.
00:30Aung's 11-year-old granddaughter, Chen Si Jing, also perished in the fire.
00:36The girl is expected to be cremated at the Johor-Baru-Tionghwa Association crematorium
00:41on Monday morning.
00:43Si Jing's brother, 12-year-old Yu Rong, suffered burn marks on his face and hands and is being
00:49treated at Hospital Sultan Ismail.
00:52The blaze damaged about 80% of the house.
