00:00As Brighton celebrate, it's been another afternoon to forget for Manchester United.

00:20Ruben Amorim had made three changes from the team, defeated Southampton chaotically in midweek.
00:25But anyone who had watched that game knows that the scoreline was deceiving.
00:29United were poor against Southampton, they were even worse here against a much better Brighton team

00:36Brighton took the lead early on, Mutoma was played onside by Harry Maguire.
00:41He then played a ball across goal for Minta to put Brighton ahead.
00:45United responded reasonably well.
00:47Ahmad Diallo and Joshua Xherxe were both quite lively in the United attack
00:52but there's only so much they can do on their own.
00:54Xherxe won the penalty when he was fouled at the labour in the box.
00:58Bruno Fernandes sent Amorim in the wrong way.
01:01United were level, they played okay in the first half but they needed more in the second.
01:06They didn't get that though.
01:07Brighton regained their lead shortly in the second half.
01:10They'd actually already scored for Xhau Pedro but that goal was partially broken, disallowed by BAR.
01:16With Diego Danilo and Joshua being fouled in the box.
01:19Brighton did finally get their goal.
01:21A dangerous ball into the backcourt.
01:23Mazraoui and Onana both allowed it to go to Mutoma.
01:27He bundled it in to make it 2-1.
01:29If the second goal was bad, the third was absolutely unacceptable.
01:33A low cross into the box, it was innocuous enough.
01:36Andre Onana somehow bundled it to the feet of Jorginho.
01:39He had an easy tap-in to make it 3-1.
01:42United were done, they were dead and buried.
01:44And as we said, if you'd seen them on Thursday night and you knew this sort of performance was capable of happening

01:51They concede three goals again.
01:53And Brighton, they thoroughly deserve the win.
01:55This is the era we live in.
01:56Ruben Amiran said he'd learn a lot more about the team in matches against Brighton and Southampton than he did
02:03from those resolute away trips to face Liverpool and Arsenal.
02:05It's all too easy to get yourself motivated for trips to Anfield or the Everett.
02:10United can embrace the underdog tag.
02:12They can have that siege mentality.
02:15They can have backs to the wall and they can produce good performances.
02:18But when it comes to home matches, when the onus is on them to actually break down teams, to beat teams,
