00:00I grew up during a civil war in Nepal. Computing, automation, any of these technological fields
00:07seemed so out of reach to me. It seemed almost impossible for women to break into and that's
00:12why I wanted to do it. I just wanted to show everyone and show myself that it is for everyone
00:18and STEM is inclusive. My mission and my passion is to democratize AI, use and leverage technology
00:25to make human-centered technology impact, to basically create innovations that transform
00:31industries and to transform communities using the power of technology. I want to see a world
00:37where women come into STEM with confidence, understanding that STEM is for everyone, not
00:42feeling like they're left out. One in four Australians are currently digitally not included.
00:48That's a huge statistic given that we're moving into a world full of AI and we're entering
00:53this AI revolution and if we don't start now, we're really going to be left behind.
00:59With SynchroWin, I see us transforming industries in mining, power, energy, ag tech and manufacturing.
01:07We have created a manufacturing autopilot which reduces costs for manufacturers, reduces
01:13energy consumption, creates more sustainable solutions so that our industries can operate
01:19more efficiently. We're also doing education where we're impacting 40,000 girls with an
01:24education model that has become a world's first and we're also doing women for STEM
01:29where we're impacting 60,000 women and girls STEM careers by giving them opportunities
01:33to upskill, network and also learn more technology relevant skills. I have seen firsthand the
01:41impact of not being technologically included and I think it's really important that everyone
01:47gets that equal opportunity and fair go. I hope we can bridge that gap in STEM and in
01:53technology and innovation.
