00:00Hi, I'm Saskia Murray. So we at Thorn Grove have got three new piglets. They are Berkshire
00:08breeds. This used to be a pig farm before it was actually a school. They had over 2,000
00:16pigs I believe. So we've gone back to our roots a little bit for a few reasons really.
00:21One is to help the rare breed, the Berkshires. Second of all because it's a wonderful thing
00:26for the children to get involved in. They're learning all sorts of things about how to
00:30look after animals, responsibilities, the rights and welfare of animals as well. And
00:36they're getting a huge amount out of it. Also from a mental health perspective, actually
00:40it's brilliant for children to be able to come outside into the open air and have some
00:45time with the animals. So in school we did this raffle to name the pigs. If you wanted
00:52to you gave £1 to the school for the charity Swings and Smiles. And then you could put
01:00on a little piece of paper what you wanted to name the pigs. And then we sorted through
01:08all of the names and found some of the names that we thought were really good and were
01:13popular. And they were called Frizzle, Plum and Pecker.
