00:00Gaza experienced its first night in peace after 15 months of a genocidal operation that
00:21daily bombed the Palestinian enclave.
00:24Humanitarian organizations estimated an average of 846 daily attacks against the Strip.
00:30Seven months ago, an investigation by the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights
00:34calculated that about 70 tons of bombs had been dropped by the Israeli occupation, a
00:40figure that even then exceeded the bombings of the Second World War.
00:44The United Nations reported that six out of ten buildings have been destroyed.
00:48This Sunday night, not a single bomb fell in Gaza for the first time after more than
00:5347,000 deaths.
00:59Meanwhile, at least 200 trucks with humanitarian aid entered Gaza from Egypt on Monday, bringing
01:05the total to 830.
01:08Tension reigns in the Strip.
01:09Early on Monday, a powerful explosion in the northern West Bank killed an Israeli reservist
01:15and wounded two others.
01:17Official forces said that the explosion occurred when the patrol vehicle was passing by.
01:21The government of the Strip has also reported incidents in Hanjounis, where the Israeli
01:26troops are said to have fired several shots.
01:35And the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs reports that 92 percent of homes in
01:40the Gaza Strip have been destroyed by U.S. bombs sent to Israel.
01:44WHO representative in Palestine, Rick Pippenkorn, said that after the hopeful ceasefire, a huge
01:50challenge lies ahead.
01:52The health system in Gaza is virtually destroyed, as are the 436,000 homes that are reduced
01:58to rubble or are uninhabitable.
02:00Meanwhile, Palestinians who have returned to their neighborhoods are trying to recover
02:04the bodies of their loved ones who still remain under the rubble.
02:08And the Israeli Occupational Forces struck hundreds of buildings in southern Lebanon,
02:18violating the ceasefire agreement in force since November 27, 2024.
02:23The review of satellite data, open-source images and interviews with United Nations
02:27special envoys unfolded the Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.
02:32The continuous aggressions toward the Lebanese people, even after the implementation of the
02:37agreement, have generated uncertainty about the reliability of the deal, which would end
02:42its initial 60-day term on January 26, 2025.
02:46Subsequently, the resistance Lebanese movement has counter-attacked Israeli military sites.
02:51In addition, Hezbollah insisted on the repeated Israeli violations of the agreement.
