The Costa Concordia was a luxury cruise ship operated by Costa Crociere, launched in 2006. It had a capacity of over 4,000 passengers and was known for its elegant design, with various dining options, a casino, and entertainment facilities. However, it became infamous after a tragic incident in January 2012, when the ship ran aground off the coast of the island of Giglio, Italy. The accident resulted in the loss of 32 lives, and the ship was later abandoned and dismantled.
