00:00It was recommended to the Congress to strengthen the law against espionage or espionage in the country.

00:06This was followed by the arrest of a Chinese man and his fellow Filipinos

00:10who were using high-tech equipment to spy.

00:14Marisol Abdurrahman witnessed this.

00:19After the arrest of Janice Nacional,

00:22who was espionaged by several military bases, government offices,

00:26vital installations, and malls,

00:28the armed forces of the Philippines became even more vigilant.

00:32If you look at the entire expanse of the country,

00:36covering the different instruments of national power,

00:39and start connecting the dots,

00:41there seems now to be a deliberate and calculated move

00:45to map out the country by a foreign power.

00:48This was not the first time that Janice Nacional was caught in the act.

00:53The underwater drone, which was recently recovered,

00:56was also added to the list.

00:58There were also several arrests for faking IDs and birth certificates,

01:03like in the case of Dismissed by the Tarlac Mayor, Alice Buo,

01:06whose belongings were seized by Janice Nacional.

01:10High precision topographic mapping and 3D modeling

01:15of military installations and critical infrastructures.

01:20Our camps are included here, even the malls.

01:23They utilized their equipment to map and survey critical infrastructures

01:29and strategic areas to include military installations,

01:33ports, malls, communications grids, energy grid,

01:39and major seaports and airports covering major routes

01:43from the northernmost point of Luzon down to the Bicol region.

01:48But the question is, if behind these incidents is China,

01:51according to the AFP?

01:53I do not want to speculate on anything.

01:55We base our statements on facts.

01:57The AFP does not want to cause an alarm,

02:00but they are calling on the public to be alert

02:03and immediately report to them the latest movements.

02:07In the midst of this, National Security Advisor,

02:10Secretary Eduardo Año urged the Congress

02:12to strengthen the law against espionage.
