00:00I want to at least scratch the surface with you Marenci on Daniels against the Eagles at the link.
00:08Can't wait to see this matchup, the Washington Commanders. We took the Commanders plus the points against the Lions.
00:16I didn't think they were going to win the game outright, but at the same point in time, I'll tell you what,
00:21I didn't have a single Detroit Lion, Moneyline, Parley, Ortiz or anything. I started to get cold feet about it.
00:28Every underdog covered this week in the National Football League. Literally every one of them.
00:34It was risky to do it. Tennessee was a miracle. The Texans was a miracle against KC without safety at the end.
00:42I guess it depends on when you bet it.
00:44I rode the underdogs. The question is, it's like robbing the same bank three times in a row.
00:51Do you go back to the Washington Commanders once again?
00:54The odds makers, giving him a legitimate chance in his football game, the point spread is pretty short here right now.
01:01But if the Commanders lose, I don't think it's going to be because Daniels is overwhelmed with the moment.
01:07He's just got ice in his veins, this kid.
01:10But I had a feeling that the Rams would cover and the Eagles would win.
01:14And even though I was on the Commanders early right now, Scott, I think that the Eagles are going to survive here.
01:20And if they survive, they probably end up covering.
01:22I haven't put the bet in yet.
01:24And I'm not the biggest Philadelphia Eagle fan, so it's not like I'm cheering for them to get to the Super Bowl.
01:30And I've been saying all along too, man, like, Saquon's a low, like the Bills, we've talked about it.
01:35The Bills have a problem with running teams.
01:37I know they dealt with Baltimore right now, but I don't want to get ahead of ourselves.
01:42So Philadelphia scares me as a Bills fan in a potential Super Bowl matchup.
01:46So I kind of think they're going to survive this week, dude, against Washington.
01:49Even though I'd like to see Washington pull off the upset.
01:52I'm not sure they're going to be able to.
01:54Even though, listen, Philadelphia's offense is pedestrian, right?
01:58It's Saquon.
01:59Like, it's literally Saquon.
02:01The problem is Washington can't stop the run.
02:04Like, that's their weakness.
02:06Like, you know, you can run on Washington.
02:08So unless, you know, we see this in the playoffs sometimes, though, guys, where teams, they tighten up their weakness.
02:14Because everybody knows it.
02:15They know that you're going to try to attack it.
02:17You know, the Buffalo Bills were a good example of that, right?
02:20Lamar and Henry really didn't do all that much on them.
02:22Whenever they're going to attack, they're going to be able to stop it.
02:24So you never really know.
02:26And I'm not ready to lay the points, but I get the feeling that Philadelphia is going to the Super Bowl, Scott.
02:31I bet Washington to win that game at Detroit outright.
02:35And I still think they're unstoppable right now.
02:40I still think that this guy, Jaden Daniels, will not be denied.
02:44They don't punt the ball.
02:46All they do is every time they touch it, they score.
02:48I think they have just blown my mind watching them play.
02:51I think they're on that kind of a roll.
02:53And believe me, you and I both know it's not the first time we've ever seen this with the Washington Redskins, if you will, back in the day, getting hot and going to a Super Bowl.
03:04They've done it before.
03:05That's what they are right now.
03:06They're really hot.
03:07I can't wait to see the game.
03:08I think Washington will be in the game.
03:10I actually still think they're going to win the game.
03:12I really do.
03:13I think they're going to go to the Super Bowl.
03:15And what I want is what you want, Buffalo, Washington, just like in the old days.
03:18That's what I want.
03:20Well, you know what's crazy?
03:21In 1991, that was the Super Bowl matchup.
03:23And as you just said, nobody really thought Washington, like Washington really weren't the team to beat that year or anything.
03:30They had Mark Ripon as their quarterback.
03:32Right?
03:33I mean, they were good.
03:34They were good.
03:35But they lit Buffalo up.
03:36Speaking of getting mad, that was the one, Scott.
03:40Like that was the most, like out of the four Super Bowls, like the missed field goal was pretty bad.
03:45Like that was just sort of like shocking.
03:47Like, oh, my God, I missed a field goal.
03:49But they were so good.
03:50Buffalo was like, oh, they'll get back.
03:52You know what I mean?
03:53That was their first Super Bowl.
03:54They'll get back.
03:55And then they did the next year.
03:56And they were playing Washington.
03:58And I thought, man, they're going to beat them.
04:00And like Washington, Kelly threw a million interceptions.
04:02Buffalo lost by like two touchdowns in the game.
04:05Looking back on all the Super Bowls, that was the one that upset me.
04:09And that was the most angry about.
04:11So, yeah.
04:12But I was going to say, they actually beat the Detroit Lions in a conference championship game in 1991.
04:17So, it sort of comes full circle.
04:18This is as far as they've gone since then.
04:20They beat the Lions last time.
04:22They're close, Scott.
04:23Like I said, I think they can win this football game.
04:26And I'm just saying, like Philadelphia, you know, I don't think Philadelphia are like invincible or anything.
04:33But their schedule just, you know what I mean, their match-ups always work out well for them.
04:37You get the L.A. Rams coming off a big win.
04:39The Rams had them by the onions at the end of the game at the 20-yard line.
04:42I mean, they blew it.
