00:28According to DILG Secretary John V. Romulia,

00:32following the first recommendation to extend Marville's term of office for six months

00:38due to the midterm election on May 12,

00:42there is no final decision about this by the President,

00:46even though the President is inclined to give it importance

00:49when asked in a media interview.

00:51Romulia said that before February 7, Marville's 56th birthday,

00:59it is possible for the President to make an announcement.

01:02For now, the President is inclined to use the words

01:07in front of the recommendation to extend the term of PNP Chief General Rommel Marville for several months.

01:12There is no final announcement.

01:14General Rommel Marville's birthday is February 7.

01:18Before that, he will announce the decision.

01:21As of now, Romulia has not seen any intention of joining the PNP

01:27even though the term of PNP Chief General Rommel Marville has been extended.

01:31DILG Chief General Rommel Marville also added that the reassignment of PNP personnel

01:40so he will not be able to fulfill his status quo.
