00:07Hurtling forwards at speeds of 226mph, this is the view from inside Britain's fastest

00:15002 Red Victor III
00:19Red Victor III carries a 3,000 horsepower V8 engine that can propel it from 0-60 in
00:25under a second.
00:26Yet you can still see owner Andy Frost taking it out for a spin around the streets of Wolverhampton.
00:34Andy has delegated his life to the project, spending thousands converting a humble Vauxhall
00:39Victor into the speed demon you see today.
00:42So Andy's got everything invested in this, time, you know, this is a 30 year project
00:50for him because realistically this started with Red Victor 1, the original Red Victor
00:53that he bought as a, you know, VX490 way back whenever.
00:57So this is an evolution of that sort of, let's say, dream and so he's got every single thing
01:03in his life for 30 years invested in what's sitting right behind me.
01:07But Andy's efforts were once again paid back when at the Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire,
01:13the 53-year-old broke his own speed record by covering a quarter of a mile in just 6.4
01:19seconds.
01:21Andy's world record has just been broken by an American team, but he has vowed to go
01:36even faster.
01:39And with investors already backing him financially, next year Red Victor will surely be back to
01:44claim its crown.
