00:18Complaints were brought to the office of the Anti-Transnational Crimes Unit in Camp Krames in Quezon City last night.

00:23Yesterday, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, or CIDG, arrested an illegal recruiter.

00:29The suspect was accused of being a 27-year-old fraudster.

00:33His motive was to collect money from the victims in exchange for a job in Canada as a skilled worker or farmer.

00:39But eventually, they found out that there was no flight and no job waiting for them.

00:43Last night, the suspect was caught in a buy-bust operation while he was receiving money from one of the victims.

00:48Most people can see this online through Facebook.

00:53It has a platform. Others can see it through referral.
