00:49Most of the rice that comes to us comes from Region 3,

00:52Pampanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Bataan.

01:45However, the Department of Agriculture is still waiting

01:49for the so-called food security emergency for the rice.

01:53It is said that the rice will arrive in February,

01:55so it is important for the NFA to be able to export the rice from the warehouses.

02:01the rice cannot be bought from the farmers

02:03and the expenses for the NFA will increase.
