Jenny Sorrenti - album Jenny Sorrenti 1979

Three years after her debut soloist album "Suspiro" Jenny Sorrenti released her second LP "Jenny Sorrenti". Compared to previous one the work is much more pop oriented, and contains a duet with Francesco De Gregori in the song "Lampo". As said, the music is more pop oeiented, while the lyrics are more linked to introspection and feeling. Over twenty years will pass from "Jenny Sorrenti" before her third album. In the meantime Jenny toured the world, gave concerts, wrote music for theatre wotks and became passionate about medieval Neapolitan and Celtic folk, which will be the basis for her 2001 album "Medieval zone".
