ಡಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಹನಗವಾಡಿಗೆ 'ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗನ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ' ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವ ; ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಔತಣಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ

ವೈದ್ಯ ಡಾ. ಸುರೇಶ್ ಹನಗವಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗನ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೀಗ ಔತಣಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

00:00So, only seven health-related diseases have been diagnosed with this disability.

00:18But, due to our continuous efforts, in 2016, there will be a total of 21 disabilities.

00:28Among them, hemophilia, thalassemia and sickle cell disorders, which are inherited blood diseases,

00:37have been diagnosed with this disability.

00:40So, all the facilities available to people with other disabilities have been provided to them.

00:48Since 2016, our central government's social ministry, i.e. empowerment ministry,

01:03Every year, on December 3rd, the International Association of Diabetics' Day Ceremony is held.

01:11In recognition of the people working in these various fields,

01:18an award called Shrestha Divyanjan has been given to them.

01:24Since hemophilia, thalassemia and sickle cell have been included,

01:30this year, in 2024, in recognition of me,

01:36I got an opportunity to give a speech at the National Assembly.

01:42This was the first project of our country.

01:45The President, on December 3rd,

01:49gave us an opportunity to give a speech to the families of people with hemophilia or sickle cell diseases.

01:59After that, the Gana Rajyotsava project,

02:04I was also invited to the President's dinner party.

02:17So, in this dinner party,

02:20I would like to express my gratitude to the people working in this field.

02:31This is also an opportunity to get in touch with people with disabilities.

02:38We will also get in touch with the government's policy makers.

02:45I think this is an important opportunity for the government to prevent this.
