00:00Okay, earliest sprint car memory would be, I think I remember in the late 70s going to a Sydney show
00:05and going out and watching like the Americans race. It might have been like Wolfgang Kinter,
00:09I can't remember anything else but vaguely remember that. It must have been good because
00:14I still remember it and I don't remember much. I remember being at the track you know four or
00:19five years old at least maybe earlier my dad used to race sprint cars so you know slide down the
00:24hill of Parramatta Speedway back in the day on cardboard boxes that we sell from the canyons
00:28so that was my first memory. Probably the Wave Hill Showgrounds in Adelaide which is right in
00:33the city centre would have been the quit series days which is what then World Series becomes so
00:38I was probably four or five years old from memory. What year was that? Late 80s yeah late 80s and
00:46then quit series turned into World Series and then dad didn't race at the showgrounds anymore
00:50and everything's moved to Speedway Park at Virginia. So earliest sprint car memory right?
00:55Probably the Queensland Tour where I was leading for half the race and then it got declared
01:01after a crash and I think that was two years ago so my first no second year in sprint car so
01:07it's pretty early in my career and that's a big name there it's probably my favourite and yeah
01:12most unknown one and like I remember that all the time.
