00:00Once House Bill No. 11213 or the Education Pathways Bill is fully enacted into law, more
00:07jobs and other opportunities for the youth are expected results of lawmakers.
00:12The lower house passed the proposal on second reading, and next week it is expected to be
00:17approved on final reading.
00:19According to House Committee on Basic Education and Culture Chair Roman Romulo, the bill aims
00:25to streamline and simplify the K-12 system.
00:28Under the said bill, the current basic education program will be amended to make it simpler
00:33and effective.
00:34Aside from this, the Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Bill is also a hot topic right now, and lawmakers
00:42have differing views on the matter.
00:44Meanwhile, to further address stunting and malnutrition among children, the Early Childhood
00:50Care and Development Bill is also expected to be enacted soon under the 19th Congress
00:55Act.
00:56It is now set to undergo deliberations in the Bicameral Conference Committee of Congress.
