00:00So Jorrit, you're obviously not playing today, but what's it like being part of this Amsterdam

00:09takeover?

00:10It's fantastic, you know, it's my first time here in Amsterdam, I've heard so many good

00:17stories about it, but to be here to try and grow our game, to bring a fictitious game

00:24over here, it's fantastic, you know, for the community, the game in itself and both clubs,

00:31so really excited to be here.

00:34You've obviously achieved everything on the other side of the world, I guess part of the

00:38adventure over here is coming over and making an impact and spreading the word on this part

00:43of the world.

00:44Yeah, it's exciting mate, it's a new challenge, it's the reason why I'm here, so I've come

00:52to a really exciting club, a club that, you know, have obviously been doing well the last

00:58few years, but yeah, just really excited for the new challenge, I've brought my family

01:03over here, I've always wanted to do it the last few years, so to be here is quite surreal,

01:11so really excited, really excited for the challenge.

01:15There's part of you wishing you were putting on the boots today, it's been a while hasn't

01:17it?

01:18Yeah, it's that time of year mate, I think, I've been at it for about 7 or 8 weeks now,

01:24so you get to that pointy end of pre-season where you get sick of tackling your own teammates

01:29and you want to start tackling someone else, but I'm just really excited mate, really excited

01:33to see the depth of our squad, a lot of younger guys, some guys coming back from long-term

01:38injuries, guys that have come from other clubs and it's what it's about, you know, just getting

01:44out there and doing the basics right, enjoying playing footy again, you know, as I said before

01:49it's been a long pre-season, but just to get out there and see some new faces, see some

01:55other jerseys and that's why you play mate, you get out there and to be able to do it

01:59here in a place called Amsterdam is quite surreal, you know, never thought we'd be playing

02:05a game over here, so to bring a game for the community is really exciting for our game.
