00:00Let's take a look at the MVP and some potential, George, as to who can win.
00:04Pretty obvious at this point, it's going to be either Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen.
00:08I've said on this show several times, I believe this is going to be a tie.
00:12I think they'll somehow, this is going to end up being voted for a tie,
00:15although you can make a case for Saquon Barkley.
00:17Burrow had a great year, so did Jared Goff.
00:19They're not going to win.
00:20It's going to go one, two, Allen, Lamar, Lamar, Allen, Barkley, three,
00:24and then I don't think it matters at that point.
00:26I'm hoping for a tie.
00:27That's how close this is.
00:28You know, I kind of hope for a tie, too.
00:31I think you're right.
00:31I think they both had great seasons here.
00:33It'd be great for a tie.
00:34I think if Barkley would have set the record, if he would have played week,
00:36was it week 18?
00:38I think he might be the guy here.
00:39I think that's what you need to do as far as a running back or wide receiver.
00:42You need to set a record here.
00:43I agree that I'd like to see a tie.
00:45That being said, it should be Lamar Jackson.
00:47His numbers are better than Allen's.
00:48I'm sorry they just are.
00:49That being said, I think it'll be Allen, vote of fatigue.
00:52Yeah, it could be, and it's usually the way that it goes.
00:55Offensive player of the year, finalist.
00:57I don't know.
00:57How would this work?
00:58I mean, with the MVP and the offensive player of the year, I don't know.
01:03I guess one could win MVP and the other could win this, but I feel, oh, okay.
01:09So this is where Barkley wins this award.
01:13Yeah, usually the quarterback goes to the MVP and then another player wins.
01:16Another player in another position wins offensive player.
01:20It is weird.
01:20It's very strange.
01:22Jamar Chase has a really good argument for this.
01:25I think it's going to be Barkley as well.
01:26But Jamar Chase had a, wow, what a season here.
01:29But for a non-playoff team, I think that's the problem there.
01:32I don't think Burroughs got a shot at this, because once again, I think it could be one
01:35of the other two guys.
01:36I'll go Barkley for this award.
01:38All right.
01:38Offensive rookie of the year.
01:40This is as easy as it gets.
01:41Jaden Daniels is going to be the winner.
01:43Why don't you go two, three, four, five here, George.
01:47What do you got?
01:47Two, three, four, five.
01:48Daniels is going to finish one.
01:50I know some people felt it would be close, and maybe we're going to be living in the
01:54moment, remembering that they voted this before Washington beat Tampa Bay and Washington
01:58beat Detroit.
01:59I get it, but I still think Daniels is the easy winner here.
02:03Yeah, I agree.
02:03I don't see how it's not Daniels, right?
02:05Fantastic season there for your Washington Commanders.
02:08But there's been no one who's been a bigger Commanders fan than Craig.
02:11And he got it right.
02:12I was wrong on this team.
02:13Although he did win me money last week.
02:15I appreciate that.
02:16I'll go, I mean, I'm going to go Brock Bowers.
02:19He may not end up being number two, but he had a fantastic season for a bad Raiders team
02:23with Minshew.
02:24And, I mean, don't get me wrong.
02:26Neighbors, same thing.
02:27Brian Thomas.
02:28I mean, with Matt Jones.
02:30Couldn't do anything with Lawrence, but it was great with Matt Jones.
02:32And like I said, neighbors with Chicken Cutlets.
02:34And, you know, it was just terrible there.
02:37I'll go Bowers, neighbors, Thomas, as far as two, three, four.
02:42All right.
02:42So coach of the year, I feel like it's one of two names on this list here.
02:47It's either going to be Dan Campbell or Kevin O'Connell.
02:50I think it's going to be one of those two.
02:52Sean Payton had a nice year for Denver.
02:55But when you go back and look at it, 10 wins, I don't know.
02:58Dan Quinn had a really nice year.
03:01But again, I don't think he wins.
03:03I think if you looked at it, it's usually a surprise award.
03:07It's sometimes not the best team award.
03:09It's a surprise award.
03:10So if I was going to create a surprise here, it would be that Detroit was as good as they are.
03:15Or Minnesota, which was the absolute biggest surprise of the season.
03:18That kind of tells me O'Connell's going to be the coach of the year.
03:21How about you, torch?
03:23I read it the same way.
03:24It's usually a team that we didn't expect.
03:25We knew the Lions were going to be great.
03:27They were.
03:28They should have won the Super Bowl last year, if not for a couple of drop passes.
03:31All right.
03:31They should have been there.
03:32So I don't think it's going to be Campbell, even though he might deserve it.
03:35I mean, didn't Sam Darnold playing so poorly the last couple of games sort of tell you how
03:38good a job O'Connell did?
03:40All right.
03:40They get as much out of him as you could.
03:42But Dan Quinn, I mean, once again, no one saw Washington being a playoff team.
03:46No one saw that outside of Craig Misch.
03:48So I think Quinn's got a shot here.
03:51I said outside of Craig.
03:55I'm going to go O'Connell here, though.
03:56I think he's got more pub right now with Dan Quinn.
03:58But Dan Quinn deserves a lot of consideration.
04:01Yeah, I agree.
04:02I agree.
04:03All right.
04:03Assistant coach of the year.
04:04This is tougher.
04:06Joe Brady, Vic Fangio, Flores, Glenn, Ben Johnson.
04:11Oof.
04:11Tough one here.
04:13Would I go back to Minnesota here and pick Flores?
04:16I mean, I guess the feel good is always Ben Johnson.
04:18It's like the easiest go to.
04:20Did he win the year before?
04:21I don't know.
04:22Did that already happen once?
04:25Actually, I don't remember.
04:26So I can't tell you.
04:27Any of these guys sort of deserve it.
04:28Fangio turned around the Eagles team.
04:29It's like collapsed last year.
04:30So maybe it's him here.
04:32I'm going to go Ben Johnson as well.
04:34All right.
04:34And then the comeback player of the year, Burrow, Sam Darnold, Dobbins, Christian Gonzalez.
04:39He's not winning it.
04:40DeMar Hamlin.
04:41Didn't DeMar Hamlin already win comeback player of the year at one point?
04:44I don't know.
04:44I think he lost and he's back again.
04:48He lost.
04:49Allie Lewis is beyond me.
04:50He lost to Joe Flacco, who came back from being old and sucked.
04:53So Darnold is the winner here.
04:54That's who Joe Flacco came back from.
