00:00How would everyone describe the vibe on set and off like was it?
00:09I had a great time
00:15We feel so incredibly lucky that we had this cast who are
00:21So fucking talented, but also so kind and open and we were very small movies. We shot very quickly
00:27and
00:29They were incredible and I and to have a partner like Logan who is so
00:34curious and
00:36loving and
00:37Brilliant was so incredible and taught me I he's not toxic. I thought that I mean this was so fun
00:44It was so yeah, the vibe was loose. You know, we just kind of
00:48loose we just
00:51Really let the
00:53Like moments happen and it was nice for me because that was a different vibe for me compared to other projects
01:01I've worked on this is uh, you know, it's it's a comedy and I don't do many comedies
01:06So it was nice to just find the funny and have fun and enjoy our shoot and enjoy the scenes
01:13it's a film about
01:17Romantics and
01:20Situationships and friendship and
01:24Our girl Iris
01:26Desperately trying to convince
01:28Isaac to be with her
01:31did
01:32Perfect. Where did you come up with the title the title?
01:36What well originally the film was set in Ojai, California
01:40So it was kind of a play on where it was set
01:43And also I do think the idea when you're getting to know someone there is just this element of like hi. Oh, hi
01:51And
01:53There's a few times in the film where the character says, oh hi
01:57so it's kind of like a double meaning the town that we
02:01Set it in ultimately in upstate New York is called high falls, but Iris thinks it's called Oh high falls
02:06So it's a play on the location and on how we kind of enter into relationships
02:13Introducing ourselves had you two you guys haven't hadn't worked or Matt had you met before this? I mean
02:21No, maybe I don't think so. No. Yeah, I don't know week. I mean
02:27Kind of have like connections from like way back, but no we didn't really know I feel like
02:33we had a really beautiful coffee with
02:37me Sophie and Logan and it was like we all felt immediately so comfortable and
02:44But yeah, I just felt yeah
02:46It was like a shared language and I'm keep saying the best friend things but I've known Sophie for so long and
02:53she is one of my closest friends in the entire world and
02:56I'm so proud of her and she's worked so hard. We conceived this project five years ago
03:02So to be here together now is so special
03:06But now it feels like we've all known each other for that long
03:09So I feel like everyone that came in it feels like sisters
03:13Are there things that are pulled from like actual bad dates or anything like that like little mini moments? Oh, yeah
03:19Yeah, yeah, there's so many things that I'm like, this is a little secret that I'm putting in this film
03:26Yeah, I think I'd like to draw from personal experience and kind of poke fun at myself and the absurdity of dating and I
03:33You know, I've gone on enough
03:35Dates in New York City to be like rattled by by the the culture of it
03:40But I also think it's it's really funny and there are lots of things I
03:44Didn't put in that I'll save for future work of insane
03:50You know, man, do we think that dating is worse in New York or LA?
04:02Yeah, probably LA. How come there's more spontaneity in New York so you can like
04:08Fantasize about meeting someone on the street and just winking
04:13Can you quickly tell the story about what happened?
04:16You take it
04:18magical wink
04:19we were out for breakfast and we were on the street sitting in New York and we were kind of talking really loudly about like
04:24what we're looking for and how we just kind of we just want like a guy with like a job who's nice and
04:30And
04:36Then this man who was sitting behind us comes up to us and it's like I couldn't help it over here
04:41You're looking for a man who has a job and it's nice. I actually have a friend
04:47so yeah, you can just like look up his name when I walk away and
04:51See if you're interested and we were like and she was like, well, do you have like a number?
04:55Like how would I contact him and he was like just search the name?
04:58And we look him up and lo and behold it is that man who's that came up to us it was not his friend
05:05Sound off in the comments if that's a good and we're way to do that. I love it in a throuple with him
05:15And that man is Logan
05:18Who is the silliest off?
05:20screen
05:22This girl the what the silly silly is that's a good question
05:28Definitely
05:32But we it's a it's a it was a it's a silly group
05:35Yeah, Jera is one of my best friends in real life. And so and we hadn't worked together since this
05:42How many like five years six years? Yeah, and so it was fun to return to that and I feel like I broke a lot
05:49Just cuz yeah, we're steady together. It's true. Yeah. Yeah. Do you remember the first time you were starstruck?
05:56And you like from a real life whether it be working or random I do I
06:01Yeah
06:02So I kick it off. I remember I was really starstruck by Al Gore
06:08When I was nine or something, I think I was around nine
06:11No, I think it was just because he was a thing it you know
06:14Yeah running for president at the time or something like that
06:17I think that lines up and I was like, oh my god Al Gore. I have to meet him
06:22Like I was like telling my mom. He's like right there went up to Al Gore
06:27That was my first time being stressed. Well, I went to the American Idol finale when and I made a
06:32fantastic
06:34Fantastic Fantasia poster and when I saw her I started hysterically sobbing
06:40She is so talented. It's astounding
06:43but I started hyperventilating and sobbing so I had to be taken out and leave because I was so
06:50Emotionally moved by seeing her in real life
06:53Your match probably the most starstruck I've ever been. I remember my first day in LA when I was like 15
06:59I saw Matt LeBlanc at Ralph's
07:05I was I'm the biggest friends fan. So I was freaking out and then I was just doing like laps around the aisles like
07:13Truly like I went to like the fruit and veg section and was like, what do I do? What do I say?
07:17But I couldn't I would freak out if I saw him now right yeah, that's freaking joy, yeah
