00:00One, two, three.
00:06We need to always
00:10apply a message.
00:13Before we drink coffee,
00:16look inside the cup first.
00:18Is the cup really clean?
00:21Does the water have dirt or dirt?
00:28Before we drink.
00:29It's the same.
00:30Before we receive the information,
00:33whether it's true or not,
00:35we need to check it first.
00:37Check it first.
00:38Don't share it.
00:39Check it first.
00:41So, through this chatbot application,
00:47we hope that WhatsApp users
00:49can send suspicious messages
00:54to the chatbot
00:56to check
00:58whether the information is true or not.
01:02We call this chatbot
01:05Artificial Intelligence Fact Check Assistant.
01:09The abbreviation is AIFA.
01:11It means that starting now,
01:13we can send messages
01:16to the chatbot
01:18on WhatsApp.
01:21And we have also prepared a portal
01:23for .my.
01:25AIFA is an important tool
01:27to share information
01:29that has been verified by the authorities
01:32and reduce the negative impact
01:34of false information.
01:36AIFA uses algorithms
01:39and machine learning
01:40to compare information
01:42with reliable sources
01:44and then deliver accurate and accurate information
01:47to the users.
01:49Actually, AIFA is available
01:52in Malay, English,
01:54Mandarin and Tamil.
01:56Based on MCMC data,
01:58the number of false news
02:00affected by AIFA
02:02is 20,000.
02:04In 2024, MCMC asked
02:07various social media platforms
02:09to reduce the number of false news
02:12to 19,546.
02:15Of that number,
02:1617,245 false news
02:19have been reduced.
02:20The platforms admitted
02:23and agreed that
02:25the contents are false news.
02:27Meanwhile, this year,
02:29until yesterday, 27 January,
02:32MCMC has asked for a reduction
02:34of 1,575 false news contents.
02:39And the platforms have agreed
02:41that of that number,
02:431,233 false news contents
02:46have been reduced.
02:48I believe that with this initiative,
02:50more people will benefit
02:54from not trusting
02:56someone's cousin
03:01or son.
03:03And we should all try
03:06to avoid false information
03:08and false news
03:10from damaging the harmony
03:12in our country and society.
