00:00Tensions continued to run high at the Israel-Lebanon border as the Israeli army remained in the
00:09Lebanese territory after a 60-day deadline for its withdrawal under their ceasefire agreement
00:15passed last Sunday.
00:17Israel had requested more time to complete its military operations in the war against
00:22Hezbollah and ordered displaced Lebanese not to return to their homes yet.
00:27However, the extension approved by mediators granted only 24 more days from the date the
00:33agreement took effect on November 27.
00:36Lebanese have been returning to their villages, but Israeli forces resisting withdrawal opened
00:42fire at them, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
00:46Hezbollah said they will not accept any justifications to extend the period.
00:51With the agreement, we are now at a new stage.
00:56We, as Hezbollah, and the Islamic Resistance, and all the resistance fighters with us,
01:02we are fully committed to not breaking the agreement.
01:08Israel has broken the agreement about 1,350 times, air, land and sea, whether by bombing
01:19or assaulting, or destroying houses or destroying life, or by vehicles that move from one place
01:28to another.
01:29We are now on the outskirts of Kafr Qila, Kafr Qila, which the Israeli enemy has removed
01:35from the map, but despite all this, our people insisted on returning.
01:40A fragile ceasefire has been in place since November 27, ending a period of mutual shelling
01:46between Israel and Hezbollah that began on October 8, 2023, and escalated into a full-scale
01:53conflict in September last year.
