Are supermarkets losing their human touch?

00:00I think like three different things at once. My immediate reaction was that ultimately, I think
00:08being able to hand over labour to AI so that we can focus on the art and the thinking
00:14is a great idea, but I'm also really painfully aware of the cost of living crisis and the fact
00:18that people need to be earning, things are tough. Well I use the technology, I use the app on my
00:24phone, I find it quite easy to use, but obviously you know it's not great when people lose their
00:30jobs is it? And clearly there sometimes, actually not this one, but the one underneath the football
00:36ground, sometimes you can't find a member of staff. I may be sounding a bit old-fashioned
00:42saying this, but removing that human touch and being able to speak to a person when you're doing
00:47like your daily groceries and the things that are kind of the everyday stuff you have to do,
00:52I think only when that's gone we'll realise like what a shame that is,
00:56so we should be cautious and do things slowly.
