00:00The Manila Police District is expecting more than P100,000 people who will attend the Chinese New Year celebration.

00:06And many are already waiting for the Jones Bridge.

00:18People continue to flock to Pasig River Esplanade and the Jones Bridge in Binondo, Manila.

00:23They are all excited for the fireworks display following the Chinese New Year celebration.

00:30In fact, the stage is not yet set up here at the Jones Bridge.

00:33There are already a lot of people in line.

00:35There are even camping chairs.

00:38Some of them are already sitting in the gutter.

00:40This man has flowers for his girlfriend.

00:43It's their first time here and their anniversary is coming soon.

00:47The 23 students we talked to are from Valenzuela and it's their first time to witness the countdown.

00:54They are happy with their experience since their last visit.

00:58The group of workers are also excited for the event since this is their celebration for their birthday.

01:05Aside from the people at the Jones Bridge, there are also a lot of people in line here at Pasig River Esplanade.

01:10The fireworks display will be held here later so that people can avoid the crowd.

01:15And since there are a lot of people, the police have already deployed to different parts of Binondo.

01:21The barangay and other volunteers are also here to ensure that the Chinese New Year celebration will be held properly.

01:27According to the Manila Police District, they are expecting to bring more than P100,000 in the countdown.
