Bintulu Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, has called for unity in helping flood victims in the area.

Tiong, who is also the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, hopes that immediate assistance and swift action will be channeled to the flood victims to ensure their safety and welfare.

00:17flood victims to ensure their safety and welfare. Continuous heavy rains over the past few days
00:25have caused several areas in Sarawak to be hit by severe flooding. Earlier, Thiong joined
00:31rescue teams and relevant agencies on the ground to help those impacted by the floods.
00:37In a heartfelt post on his Facebook page, he expressed his full commitment to supporting
00:41those affected. Authorities have advised residents living at-risk areas to remain vigilant and
00:48follow weather warnings issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department. In addition, residents
00:54are encouraged to move to evacuation centres if the situation worsens.
