Did you know that in Man of Steel?

Did you know that, in Man of Steel, director Zack Snyder really wanted to include a scene with Henry Cavill shirtless? This is because, throughout the movie, we see Cavill wearing a tight suit that highlights his extremely muscular body. Snyder explained that the audience might think those muscles were artificial and made of rubber. That's why he thought it was important to show that, in fact, that was Cavill's real body. It makes perfect sense, as the actor worked hard to achieve that insane physique and it wouldn’t be fair for people to claim it was just editing. Additionally, the director convinced Cavill to keep his hairy chest visible, as, in his view, Superman has a hairy chest. I think the director also wanted an excuse to see Henry Cavill shirtless!
