00:00In a few moments, the Lakin-Riley Act will become the very first bill that I proudly
00:07sign into law as the 47th President of the United States.
00:12While on a run, Lakin was attacked, viciously assaulted, beaten, brutalized, and murdered
00:18by an illegal alien gang member who was set loose into our country by the last administration.
00:24Today I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and
00:30Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay.
00:36Most people don't even know about it.
00:38We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening
00:45the American people.
00:47Some of them are so bad we don't even trust the countries to hold them because we don't
00:51want them coming back, so we're going to send them out to Guantanamo.
00:54This will double our capacity immediately, right, and tough.
00:59That's a tough place to get out of.
01:02Today's signings bring us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime
01:06in our communities once and for all.
01:09In honor of Lakin-Riley.
01:10Come on up here, some of the people that we love, that have been so instrumental.
01:17Okay?
