00:00Birmingham City are anxiously awaiting news on Tomoki Iwata's injury after the midfielder's
00:07comeback was cut short at Huddersfield Town.
00:10Iwata was the victim of a late challenge by Jonathan Hogg, forcing him to be replaced
00:15by skipper Christian Bielek. Despite Keshia Anderson's superb strike securing the win,
00:21Iwata's injury cast a shadow over the night.
00:24Blues boss Chris Davis commented on the injury, noting that Iwata was intelligent, quick and
00:29a key player for the team.
00:32He was in significant pain as he was carried off the pitch, with Davis criticising the
00:37challenge on his midfielder.
00:39I didn't like the look of it, said Davis, referring to Hogg's tackle. We've had a few
00:44of those and need better protection.
00:47As for Anderson, his match-winning goal was a standout, ranking in his top three of all
00:51time. This season, Anderson has netted six goals and provided six assists, cementing
