00:10Both crashed in the Potomac River. No survivors have been found.
00:14The American Eagle plane was carrying 60 passengers and four crew members,
00:18the Black Hawk helicopter carrying three members of the military.
00:22Officials have confirmed it's now moved from a rescue to a recovery mission,
00:26meaning all 67 are presumed dead.
00:29The helicopter was on a training flight out of Virginia.
00:33The passenger plane took off from Wichita, Kansas.
00:36Several members of the U.S. figure skating community were aboard the flight
00:40following the U.S. figure skating championship in Wichita.
00:44Six with ties to the skating club of Boston were aboard the flight,
00:49including two 16-year-old skaters and their moms.
00:53Russian figure skaters and coaches have also been confirmed to have been on the flight.
00:59Less than 30 seconds before the crash, air traffic controller asked the helicopter
01:04if it saw the arriving plane, then asking it to, quote, pass behind the plane.
01:11This particular runway at Reagan International is the busiest in the country.
01:15It's the first commercial air crash since February 2009.
