00:00The Department of Migrant Workers has announced that they will take care of undocumented Filipinos in the United States

00:07who will be deported under the supervision of the Trump administration.

00:13According to the DMW, they also have someone ready to help them with their return to the Philippines.

00:23Our responsibilities are related to the immigration policy of the Trump administration.

00:32We have a Philippine embassy where our embassy will assist and will make programs to fix these issues.

00:45That is what the Department of Migrant Workers Undersecretary Bernard Olalya gave

00:50related to the immigration policy of the new leader of the United States to the undocumented in their country.

00:57According to Usec Olalya, they have two jobs in the United States that the Filipinos can go to or contact there, especially the undocumented.

01:08We also have two migrant workers offices in the U.S., one in Washington and one in Los Angeles.

01:15The DMW is waiting for a program.

01:20And even if the undocumented Filipinos are deported back to the Philippines,

01:24the government is waiting for a reintegration program for them.

01:28Here, the Filipino immigrants are given a livelihood or training.

01:34Even if they need legal assistance, the DMW is also ready for that, according to Usec Olalya.

01:40According to their latest data, more than 20 Filipinos have been deported under the supervision of the U.S. President Donald Trump.

01:48Olalya added that the immigration policy depends on the host country and the U.S.

01:54and that the decision is in their own hands.
