00:00If you're tired of breaking out the same old spinach dip
00:02for your parties, I've got five appetizers
00:04with only five ingredients that aren't dipped
00:06just in time for the big game.
00:08Come on, you know that is the cutest thing you've ever seen.
00:10Starting with meatball sub bombs.
00:14Not only does this look delicious,
00:16but it looks completely genius.
00:17The five ingredients for this appetizer are
00:20canned pizza dough, frozen meatballs,
00:22mozzarella, and marinara sauce.
00:26That's really only four ingredients.
00:27We're gonna have butter, garlic, and some seasonings,
00:30so you can count one of those as an ingredient if you want.
00:33I was at a party over the holidays.
00:35The meatballs that were in the crock pot
00:37did not taste frozen, and I learned
00:39that they were indeed frozen.
00:41These, hashtag not sponsored, are the best party meatballs
00:46that actually taste homemade.
00:49And you get so many for your money.
00:52Going to use canned pizza dough.
00:54I love this canned pizza dough, though.
00:58It still gets crispy on the outside,
01:00so it's a little different than just using Crescent rolls.
01:04I'm gonna roll it out slightly
01:05on some lightly floured surface.
01:08You want it to stretch out a little bit,
01:10because it can withstand being thinner.
01:12I'm just making little sliders here.
01:15If you know me, you know that chips and dip
01:17is my favorite food, so I'm not dissing that,
01:20but sometimes we're looking for something
01:22a little more substantial at our parties.
01:25So that's what I'm giving you today.
01:27Muffin tin one.
01:28Lightly grease it.
01:29You could just use oil or cooking spray.
01:33Then we're going to stretch our dough over.
01:38Loosely.
01:39Then you take your second pan and lightly press it in
01:43so that it forms the indentions.
01:45All right, then we're gonna take our meatballs,
01:47slightly thawed, and just drop them into each hole.
01:53This is so easy and efficient.
01:55All right, then just a little bit of sauce,
01:57just a small little spoonful right over the meatball.
02:03You wanna make sure your meatballs are slightly thawed.
02:06Just take it out of the fridge
02:07for like 15 minutes before you start.
02:09Sprinkle of mozz.
02:11If you don't have a mini muffin tin
02:13and you just have the regular size,
02:15you could totally do this.
02:16You could use a larger meatball,
02:17or you could just put two meatballs in each.
02:20And then top it with another crust.
02:24All right, and then you want to kind of press around
02:27each little section to kind of seal it up.
02:31So you're gonna cut the dough around each little section
02:34and then fold each alternating corner to meet each other
02:37and kind of seal it up with a little twist.
02:41They do not have to be perfect.
02:42Pinch it to seal as best you can.
02:44Once it bakes up, these are just going to look like
02:47perfect bites of goodness.
02:48No two meatball subs look the same.
02:51Okay, now some garlic oil.
02:54Two cloves of garlic.
02:56If you don't have fresh garlic,
02:57you could use garlic powder here too.
02:59Little bit of crushed red pepper.
03:00That can be optional.
03:02Little Italian seasoning.
03:03And then about two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
03:07And a little pinch of salt.
03:08Give that a stir,
03:09and then we're gonna brush it over our meatball subs.
03:12Don't be afraid to let that oil
03:13kind of drip down the crevices.
03:15It's gonna kind of create that crispy edge
03:17that we love in a pizza crust.
03:18You know, when you think events like the Superbowl,
03:21this is that kind of food.
03:22You know, you want hearty.
03:24Put my muffin tin inside of another pan
03:26just in case I get a little drippage
03:28and I don't want to dirty up my clean oven.
03:30So this goes in at 400 degrees.
03:32You know, everything is technically cooked.
03:34We just want those meatballs to heat through
03:36and everything to get, you know,
03:37gooey and hot and bubbly in there.
03:40Oh, these look good.
03:43I mean, number one is a success already,
03:46and I haven't even bitten into it.
03:47And what makes them even more fun
03:49is they're like a little meatball slider surprise.
03:52You don't really even know there's meatball in there yet.
03:54Let's see what it looks like on the inside.
03:56Oh.
03:59Perfect bite.
04:00You can give it a little dip in some more marinara.
04:10Mm.
04:11I know you're gonna make fun of me when I say this,
04:13but it's a touchdown.
04:16My kids would devour these for dinner.
04:18So of course, this is a great party snack.
04:21Heck, add this to your dinner rotation too.
04:23That pizza crust gets kind of crunchy on the outside
04:26with that, you know, flavorful oil and the Parmesan cheese.
04:30The meatball is, I'm telling you, it's the best meatball.
04:33It's cooked through, like it's hot,
04:36but still like moist and tender in there.
04:39Yeah, A plus plus.
04:40Make this.
04:42Two words best describe my next trick?
04:46I'm bringing you bang bang chicken nuggets.
04:49The five ingredients here are frozen chicken nuggets,
04:52some green onions, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and mayo.
04:56P.S. this is super duper easy.
04:58I like to find the ones that are gonna be like super crispy
05:01because you are gonna coat them in the sauce
05:02and you don't want them to get like soggy later.
05:05So find ones that are like labeled crispy or extra crispy.
05:09You just pop these in the air fryer
05:11for about 12 to 14 minutes on 390.
05:13While those are air frying,
05:14you just mix together your bang bang sauce,
05:17half a cup of mayonnaise,
05:18a few tablespoons of sweet chili sauce.
05:21Then you can tweak this to your taste
05:23if you want it sweeter or spicier,
05:25but this is just a good starting place.
05:27And then about a tablespoon of sriracha
05:29and then you can go from there if you wanna add more.
05:31And it doesn't get any easier than that.
05:35Yum yum, bang bang.
05:37You'll air fry these for about 15 minutes
05:39or until they're good and crispy.
05:41That's the sound of a crispy nugget.
05:44All right, and then just toss them right in.
05:47It's like boneless wings meets stir fry, you know?
05:51These are gonna fly off the table
05:54so you might wanna make double.
05:55And I'm just gonna cut up some green onions.
05:57It's gonna give it a little fresh crunch.
06:01Delicious.
06:02Grab you a platter, put down the chicken.
06:05This is not just a garnish.
06:06This is an ingredient, you know?
06:08Optional, does not count as an ingredient,
06:11but just a little thing to pretty them up.
06:13Some sesame seeds.
06:15Each single one is the perfect bite.
06:18Look at that.
06:19You've got hot and cold, crunchy, creamy,
06:22sweet and spicy, everything right here.
06:28Mm.
06:31Why haven't we been doing that more?
06:33You're not gonna be able to choose just one
06:35for the big day.
06:37If you follow us on social media,
06:39you've seen me do this before.
06:41If you don't follow us, what are you doing?
06:43This little trick is called tiny tacos.
06:46I have made these several times for a party now
06:48and they are an absolute hit every time.
06:52You start out by just making your taco meat.
06:55However you do, I'm not gonna call for a packet
06:58of taco seasoning because that would be an ingredient.
07:01You have everything in your pantry to season this up.
07:04So just brown off your meat and just season it up.
07:07I've got a little onion powder, chili powder,
07:11cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
07:13You only need a small amount of everything
07:15to make this a lot of little tacos.
07:18If you've got a big crowd,
07:19this is actually a cost-effective appetizer.
07:22I'm using the extra lean meat
07:24so we don't even have to drain it.
07:25The other four ingredients,
07:27you need round tortilla chips,
07:29refried beans, cheese, and taco sauce for dipping.
07:33This is like the alternative
07:34to your seven-layer dip this year, okay?
07:37Just my favorite dip of all time.
07:38So you get your round chips
07:40and you spread a very thin layer
07:42across the whole surface of refried beans.
07:46It has to be over the whole surface
07:47because that's what kind of softens the chip a little bit
07:50so that later you can fold it in half.
07:52So you get a thin layer of beans on
07:54and then you just put a small amount
07:56of our taco meat right on top.
07:58It doesn't have to be to one side,
08:00just kind of dump it right in the center
08:01and then sprinkle with cheese.
08:03Does it get any easier than this?
08:05These go into the oven just for about five minutes
08:07until the cheese melts
08:09and then the beans are gonna kind of soften
08:11that chip just slightly.
08:22Okay, now this is where the magic happens.
08:25Just until everything's melty.
08:27Then you take the chip
08:29and you just kind of fold it in half
08:31and now it's a tiny taco.
08:34Come on, you know that is the cutest thing you've ever seen.
08:37It's okay if they break a little on the edges,
08:39they still hold together.
08:41I mean, little bits of crusty cheese on there.
08:43The good thing about these also
08:45is that they're still delicious at room temperature
08:48an hour later, I promise you.
08:50Optional garnish,
08:51if you're willing to go for a sixth ingredient,
08:54I highly recommend the cilantro.
08:56It's kind of like the lettuce in your taco, you know?
08:58Taco sauce for dipping.
08:59Ah.
09:01You could also do sour cream or guacamole.
09:04It's like a one-bite taco.
09:07Mm.
09:09You know when you get a thing of nachos
09:11and you get that perfect one
09:12that has a little bit of everything
09:14in just the right proportion to the chip?
09:16That's what just happened here.
09:17So while it is a tiny taco, it's also the perfect nacho.
09:20Try this instead of your seven-layer dip at your next party.
09:23I think the big question right now
09:24is how have I made it past halftime
09:26and we haven't even had a cocktail?
09:28Today's cocktail comes by special request
09:31by the guy behind the camera.
09:33It's technically like a summer cocktail,
09:36but we're not judging, okay?
09:38We're going in with a little lemonade concentrate.
09:40Vodka, because we're past our bourbon stages.
09:44Give that a stir.
09:47And top it with that good beer.
09:50Oh.
09:58Good idea.
09:59This is just what we needed.
10:01Little vodka shandy.
10:03It's quite delightful.
10:05Cheers.
10:09And this one only had three ingredients.
10:11Since that one was so easy,
10:13let's recreate another past success
10:15based on our social videos.
10:18And don't blink because it is so easy.
10:20Garlic butter pizza rolls.
10:22Yes, please.
10:23Nothing screams Super Bowl louder than a pizza roll.
10:29I have a rhyme too.
10:30You're gonna pop your pizza rolls
10:31in the air fryer preferred,
10:32but you can also do them in the oven.
10:34And while those cook, we'll make our garlic butter.
10:37The sad thing is,
10:38even if you put effort into your homemade appetizers,
10:43this is the one that's gonna go the fastest.
10:45Okay, just melt some butter.
10:48I like to do it in the skillet
10:49because then you can toss the pizza rolls
10:51in the butter in the skillet.
10:53Saves you from having to dirty an extra bowl or something.
10:56The ingredients here are just pizza rolls,
10:59butter, we can count even as an ingredient,
11:01and grated Parmesan cheese.
11:03Season it up with a little crushed red pepper and salt.
11:06Oh, and garlic.
11:07Go ahead and add your garlic in
11:09so that it will infuse that butter as it melts.
11:13When your butter starts sizzling,
11:15we're gonna finish it off with a little crushed red pepper.
11:18Pizza rolls are done.
11:20Just when they start to do that little bursty thing,
11:23you know they're ready.
11:26And then toss in the pizza rolls.
11:30Turn off the heat and add in some Parmesan cheese.
11:37Yum!
11:40Y'all, seriously.
11:42And then my brother doesn't eat pizza rolls without ranch.
11:48I give to you the easiest appetizer of the day.
11:50Mm.
11:54Mm.
11:58Why do bad things have to be so good?
12:01That garlic butter just takes these
12:02to like a whole other level.
12:05You don't have to be embarrassed
12:06about serving pizza rolls at your party.
12:08Not with this recipe.
12:13For my final trick, every party needs a buffalo chicken.
12:17I'm doing buffalo chicken meatballs.
12:20Here are the five ingredients we need.
12:22Ground chicken, some green onion,
12:25little blue cheese crumble, some wing sauce,
12:28and celery, couple pantry staples,
12:31some eggs and breadcrumbs.
12:32Now you could use those freezer meatballs again
12:36if you wanna have both of these things at the same party.
12:38But it just won't have that whole like
12:39fully encompassing buffalo chicken flavor, you know?
12:43Can't just put them with buffalo sauce.
12:45It's not quite the same thing.
12:47But this is gonna be so easy.
12:48So I'm just going to chop up some green onion
12:51and celery really finely.
12:52Because we always have some celery
12:54with our buffalo wings, right?
12:56Also this is made with ground chicken
12:58to mimic the chicken wing experience, you know?
13:01Plus ground chicken is a lot cheaper
13:03than ground sirloin or something.
13:05So it makes it a little more budget friendly.
13:08Because this also makes a lot.
13:10I'm going in with two eggs.
13:11And then a quarter cup of blue cheese crumbles.
13:13These are like a really subtle
13:15yet delicious little addition to the meatball.
13:18I'll give that a mix.
13:19And then I'm also adding in a little bit
13:21of the buffalo sauce into the meatball mixture.
13:25In goes the breadcrumbs.
13:26I like to get all my mixing done when I make my meatballs,
13:29as you know, to keep them nice and tender.
13:31And I go in with the chicken.
13:32Even though we already have a lot of flavor in there,
13:35I'm adding just a little bit of salt to season the meat.
13:37And then we mix.
13:40Have your oven preheated to about 425 or 450.
13:43Because the idea here is that you want them
13:44to kind of like cook and get a little toasty
13:47a little bit on the outside.
13:48And then you simmer them or, you know,
13:50keep them served hot in the rest of your buffalo sauce.
13:53I got to get my other little meatball essential,
13:57which is a bowl of water.
13:59That keeps your hands moist.
14:02And it keeps the meat from really sticking
14:04to your hands during the whole process.
14:06So you want to do these cocktail size,
14:08one to two bites worth, you know.
14:15Meatballs are done.
14:16They're so small.
14:17They're probably fully cooked through,
14:18but they don't have to be.
14:20Because this is when you finish them off
14:22by simmering them in buffalo sauce.
14:24So this can happen now in a crock pot,
14:26if you want to just keep your crock pot low at the party.
14:29Or you can just do it on the stove
14:31until you're ready to serve.
14:32Look at the way that little blue cheese is oozing out.
14:36If you want to tame it down a little bit,
14:38you could add some honey and butter to this.
14:40When you buy the wing sauce, it's generally not too bad.
14:45This one's done.
14:46I'm just going to let it simmer for a few minutes,
14:48and then we'll serve them up.
14:52The buffalo chicken meatball.
14:54You can cool it off with a little blue cheese
14:56or ranch dressing.
15:00Mm.
15:01Sometimes I surprise myself.
15:02Definitely, it just gives you like,
15:04oh, did I just eat a buffalo chicken wing?
15:06But without all the effort?
15:08Sure did.
15:09Oh my God, that little bit of blue cheese in there.
15:12I'm just surprised this meatball is so juicy.
15:15Mm.
15:16You know, it's not dried out.
15:18Moist, so tender.
15:21Mm.
15:21Y'all need to be making buffalo chicken dip this year.
15:24Just do this.
15:26We did it.
15:26Five appetizers with only five ingredients.
15:29Perfect for not only the big game,
15:31but also for any occasion.
15:32Let's be real.
15:33Let your friends bring the dips this year,
15:35and you be the star of the show.
