00:00We had our first big trade last week, and we know that big trades can change some things,
00:06especially on the big board when we're looking at we still got five, six weeks till the deadline.
00:11So there's a chance there's going to be some more stuff.
00:13But of course, you saw Dave, as soon as that Carolina makes this deal, and they get ranted
00:17in and haul in their house, there they go right to the top six to one, I saw Carolina
00:23as the new favorites on the board.
00:25It's crazy because we've fallen for it in the past couple years.
00:29I've done it myself and gone, Oh, this is the year Carolina is going to do it.
00:33And it happened again.
00:35And there were people both in the content space and in and around the books that never
00:40bet hockey that knew that the number was going to move.
00:44And they bet they bet the Hurricanes to win the East and the Stanley Cup.
00:50Good luck.
00:51That's all I can tell you.
00:52The books didn't close.
00:54They waited to take the bets and move the number.
00:57You know, there's teams that are really good against the money lines, you know, this season.
01:02And when you see it, you're like, really, okay, who are the best teams in the NHL against
01:08the money lines?
01:09Mike, do you know who the best team in the NHL?
01:12I actually do because we do this on coast to coast every Thursday.
01:16So it's still fresh in my mind.
01:17And I will tell you, it's the Washington Capitals are the number one team money line in terms
01:22of plus units this year and Montreal second Dave.
01:26I remember that.
01:27Right.
01:28Yeah.
01:29Yeah.
01:30Our guy Vinny's got the graphic.
01:31I know he's going to put it up there at some point because we're talking about it.
01:35There it is.
01:36Right there.
01:37Well, that's the worst teams against the money line.
01:39The New York Rangers.
01:41OK, there's the best teams against the money line.
01:44Capitals, Canadians.
01:45And oh, by the way, the Blue Jackets, who won last night here in Vegas.
01:49Yeah.
01:50Great.
01:51Any one of those teams interest you in a Stanley Cup future?
01:55As good as they are on the money lines.
01:57There's not a team on that list, Mike, that I want to win a Stanley Cup.
02:01Yeah, I think the only one that you could maybe make a case for is Washington.
02:07And I and I still don't know if everyone's a big believer yet.
02:12Like I think they're the only one just because, yeah, you know, look, Logan Thompson, I don't
02:17know how he's gotten to the end before, but I don't know how much I'd want to put on him.
02:22You know, Ovi, there's a great story.
02:24I think that they'd lose a seven game series to the Devils or the Panthers or some of these
02:30other teams in the Eastern Conference.
02:32So it would be tough for them to get there.
02:34What do you do with the worst teams on the money line?
02:36The worst teams on the money line on the season are two of them are playing each other tonight.
02:43The Sabres and the Threats.
02:44The Threats are the worst team in the league on the money line.
02:45And they're playing their favorite, Asheville's favorite on the road, Mike.
02:53I'm still sorry, Bills.
02:55I mean, but like, this is going to be an awful lot like I know, honestly, for me, Dave, it's
03:02it's an over.
03:03I'm not even going to get involved with a side.
03:06And I know it's a six and a half, but look at these Sabre games, Dave, like, let's just
03:12look at the like even the other night, they got double hat tricks against Boston.
03:16They give up tons of goals.
03:17Nashville is kind of getting in that mode, too.
03:20Did you see the games that Nashville played with the Sharks last week?
03:22They played like a 7-5 and a 6-5 game with them.
03:26So for me right now, these are two teams that I want to go up, up, up and away tonight.
03:32That's really where I see it.
03:34And it's hard with Columbus-Vegas being the, you know, road trip from Vegas to Utah.
03:41This is a mountain, back to back, hard spot, right?
03:45They get a win last night.
03:46They're big dogs tonight.
03:47They're the third best team in the league against the Moneyline.
03:49And you want to go, wow, how can you not take Columbus plus 190?
03:54Might be a really bad spot for them.
03:57I don't love it, Dave.
03:58I think it's now, I don't want to pay that price for Utah tonight either.
04:03Believe me, I don't want to pay that price.
04:05But that's a game where you're right.
04:07I don't know about back to back nights, Columbus on the road, going and taking care of business.
04:13And that could be another one, you know, that's a six and a half also tonight.
