00:00Clevedon has been crowned one of the best places to live in Bristol on Somerset by Muddy Stilettos.
00:08We asked locals what their thoughts are on living in Clevedon.
00:12I moved here in 2018, so I'm further down in Somerset.
00:19I'm just retired here, so I like it very much.
00:23We absolutely love it. We've been here about six years, and we love everything that it's got to offer.
00:32It has a bit more of a village feel, really, than a big town.
00:38We walk most days. It's got lots of coffee shops.
00:42It's got the pier. It's got the Marine Lake.
00:46It's got a nice shopping centre, especially Downhill Road.
00:51Yes, and the cinema.
00:53Do you have any favourite areas within Clevedon?
00:57The usual, like the Poets' Walk, walking along the pier and the seafront.
01:02Yes, very nice.
01:04And then Clevedon Court, which is beautiful. Well worth a visit.
01:08Yes, and the Hill Road for the shops and the restaurants.
01:12And lower down here is a variety of shops. I find it all very pleasant.
01:17Hill Road. Seafront.
01:20Alexander Road. Probably the Sort House Fields.
01:24Generally mid-Clevedon, which is some of the oldest architecture in terms of the houses.
01:31The sunsets are another really big thing about Clevedon. We have amazing sunsets.
01:39Are there any issues with the town?
01:43Not that I'm aware of.
01:47I'm sure there are many, yes.
01:51As there are with many towns these days.
01:53Lack of funds for various things that people would like to be done.
