00:05I expect, not hope, not think, I expect the Bengals to retain Jamar Chase and sign him

00:13to a long-term deal, to extend Trey Hendrickson, to sign Tee Higgins to a long-term extension

00:19as well.

00:20All three, I expect them to be signed this offseason.

00:22I'm going to be very clear.

00:24Expect.

00:25That's where expectations are.

00:27And that doesn't mean that they can't add to the team after that.

00:30Expectations are high, and they should be, and that's it.

00:34And so when I read these quotes, I can see why you'd be leery.

00:41But all indications are that the Bengals want to keep all three guys, and not want to by

00:46giving Tee Higgins a $12 million haircut.

00:52by structuring them a certain way, by giving him fair value, and that's where I think this

00:59comes in and where it's interesting.

01:02He's going to make the most out of everybody.

01:04When they got close with him, he has the same agent.

01:07There's a real belief in the building.

01:09There's a real belief in Jamar's camp that he's going to get paid, that it's going to

01:13So I don't really have concern there.

01:15The when matters.

01:16I can't worry about the when, but I totally get it as a fan.

01:19I don't want this to be a distraction.

01:22It should happen sooner rather than later.
