00:00Paris Fashion Week is the height of style, but someone should have mentioned that to
00:04these celebs. These outfits left us scratching our heads.
00:08Lily-Rose Depp showed up to the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week looking far older than
00:12her 25 years. Much about her T-length skirt and coordinating jacket were the epitome of
00:16Chanel vibes, yet so much about this look fell flat. The dark tights that covered only a bit
00:21of her calves made this look feel heavy. Pairing it with silver, open-toed shoes intensified this
00:27feeling. Beyond the ensemble, her styling didn't do anything to make this look feel
00:31fashion-forward or interesting. While her choice to leave her hair down and undone
00:35and keep her makeup simple was likely meant to balance the ensemble's stuffiness,
00:39in the end, it made the whole look feel unfinished and half-baked.
00:42Anya Taylor-Joy attended the Christian Dior show in a bold, asymmetrical dress. The look was
00:48certainly unique, but there was just too many different intense elements in this all-black
00:52ensemble for it to really work. The top was asymmetrical with an interesting neckline,
00:56and leather sleeves with built-in gloves. If this was the top of a sleek jumpsuit or mini-dress,
01:01it certainly would've made for a chic look. Instead, it had a long skirt made entirely
01:06a fringe that exposed big, black underwear. The whole look felt incongruous and confusing,
01:11and overall, it didn't totally work.
01:13Venus Williams can do it all. She stuns in tennis gear just as well as she struts her
01:18stuff in evening wear. Her usual eye for style made this total fashion flop at the Christian
01:22Dior show all the more perplexing. The jumpsuit and coordinating jacket was a nice idea in theory.
01:27The execution, however, fell flat. Instead of looking like a cool,
01:31unique juxtaposition, this outfit and its accessories just looked out of position.
01:36This is a showpiece."
01:38To make matters worse, the bagginess of the jacket and wrinkly fabric didn't feel high fashion,
01:43and her hair and jewelry added even more conflicting visual details.
01:47If you had to do a double-take when you saw Lisa Rinna at the Stéphane Rolland show,
01:51you are definitely not alone. Rinna's hair and makeup left her almost unrecognizable.
01:55In fact, they were so distracting that they took attention away from her outfit,
01:59which, interestingly enough, was actually on point. From the neck down,
02:03Rinna looked chic and high fashion. Clearly, she tried to pair this with some edgy,
02:07interesting hair and makeup, but it was a misfire. Unfortunately,
02:10styling details like this can throw off a whole look, and Rinna's ensemble is living proof.
02:16Ava Filippi should've stunned in head-to-toe black, but in this case,
02:19her dress had way too much going on. The outfit overwhelmed her, and her accessories
02:24managed to make it even heavier and messier looking. Overall, she just needed a pointy hat,
02:28and it would've been a perfect witch costume.
02:31Nicola Coughlin can pull off pretty much anything, as Bridgerton fans know well. Yet,
02:35Coughlin hit the Christian Dior show in an all-black ensemble that left her looking
02:39totally overpowered. Between the skirt and the jacket, there was a lot of fabric here,
02:44and its cut gave major trash bag vibes. The open shoulders could've worked to make the
02:48black fabric a bit less overwhelming. Yet, pairing it with black opaque tights, black shoes,
02:53and a black shoulder bag made the outfit more impressive, and also more boring.
02:57Coughlin's edgy makeup looked beautiful on her, and if she ditched the jacket and swapped the
03:01tights and pumps out for some knee-high boots, this look could've been a bit fresher.
