00:36That was given to Panama foolishly.

00:38But they violated the agreement,

00:40and we're going to take it back

00:42or something very powerful is going to happen.

00:45President McKinley made our country very rich

00:49through tariffs and through talent.

00:52He was a natural businessman

00:54and gave Teddy Roosevelt the money for many of the great things he did,

01:00which has foolishly been given to the country of Panama

01:04after the United States.

01:06The United States, I mean, think of this,

01:08spent more money than ever spent on a project before

01:12and lost 38,000 lives in the building of the Panama Canal.

01:19We have been treated very badly from this foolish gift

01:22that should have never been made,

01:24and Panama's promise to us has been broken.

01:28The purpose of our deal and the spirit of our treaty

01:32has been totally violated.

01:34American ships are being severely overcharged

01:38and not treated fairly in any way, shape, or form,

01:43and that includes the United States Navy.

01:46And above all, China is operating the Panama Canal,

01:50and we didn't give it to China.

01:52We gave it to Panama, and we're taking it back.
