00:00Saturday night, as we all know it, marked one of the biggest trades in NBA history.

00:04The Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison ignited a trade sending five-time All-Star Luka Doncic,

00:10Maxi Cleaver, and Markeith Morris to the Los Angeles Lakers in return for Anthony Davis,

00:15Max Christie, and the 2029 Lakers first-round draft pick.

00:19Doncic was eligible to sign a $345 million Supermax contract extension this summer with

00:25the Dallas Mavericks, but however, according to Harrison, based off of Luka's contract details,

00:31he felt like they got out in front of what could have been a tumultuous year.

00:34At the pregame presser this Sunday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio,

00:38we heard from head coach Jason Kidd, who apparently had no idea about the trade until it

00:42occurred, as well as Nico Harrison, who was giving some insight on the deal.

00:46Harrison insisted that the players we're bringing in, we believe, exemplify that culture. He said

00:52there are people that fit into the culture and people that add to the culture. They both

00:56iterated that defense wins championships and they are looking at the window to win now.

01:01As expected, the Mavs fans are not taking this decision lightly as a protest and mock

01:06funeral was held outside of American Airlines Center Sunday afternoon, calling it the death

01:10of our culture. In a farewell letter to Dallas, Doncic expressed his gratitude

01:15and his appreciation for the city and the fans, saying,

01:18I thought I would spend my career here and I wanted so badly to bring you a championship.

01:23Extra information that we know now is that Anthony Davis is waiving his trade bonus to

01:28help the Mavericks make any additional moves if necessary. This brings us to the question of,
