00:00The target of the Department of Transportation is to make it easier or more comfortable for motorists to travel by the end of 2027.

00:09This is through the establishment of the Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange.

00:15A partnership was also established between DOTR and TPWH as part of the more advanced transport infrastructure development.

00:31Our countrymen will experience a more comfortable and faster journey from Metro Manila to Laguna, Batangas and other parts of the country.

00:40At the time of completion of the Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange or TCETEX in the first part of 2027.

00:47It was led by Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and other officials of the groundbreaking ceremony in Arca South, Taguig City.

01:01This Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange or TCETEX to rise from this site will redefine how commuters navigate our transport network.

01:14This project led by Arca South Integrated Terminals Inc. of Ayala Land will be instrumental in decongesting major torque fairs and offering a smoother journey for the riding public.

01:29TCETEX is included in the service of more than 160,000 motorists daily.

01:35It will have a centralized ticketing area, passenger area and pedestrian walkway connected to FTI Station of North-South Commuter Railway and Metro Manila Subway System.

01:47Right-of-Way Usage Agreement for South-East Metro Manila Expressway or C6 Expressway Phase 1 with a total length of 32.7 kilometers was also passed.

01:57After that, this agreement will benefit up to 88,000 motorists daily and will shorten the journey from Bicutan, Taguig City to Batasan, Quezon City from almost 2 hours to less than 35 minutes.

02:11In addition, the Convergence and Interface Coordination Memorandum of Agreement was passed by the Department of Public Works and Highways and Department of Transportation as a part of the more extensive Transport Infrastructure Development in the country.

02:25Traffic Management Plan was also prepared for the projects, especially for the affected areas.

02:32These projects are not handled by only one agency. Although we are the lead agency, we need to coordinate with so many other government agencies.

02:43Meanwhile, DOTR is preparing the feasibility study for the Intermodal Transport Terminal in Northern Metro Manila.
