00:00Welcome to the Opsalamat 23 Appreciation Ceremony for the New Year of China 2025!
00:14Opsalamat 23, starting from 28 January to 2 February 2025, has recorded 7,882 cases of accidents,
00:29i.e. a decrease of 902 cases or 10% compared to 8,784 cases during the same operation in 2024.
00:46The number of deaths also recorded a decrease of 64 cases compared to 104 cases in 2024.
01:00The number of deaths also recorded a decrease of 66 cases compared to 127 cases in 2024.
01:11Based on the statistics, the number of deaths, passengers and motorcyclists still remain as a group
01:21which recorded the highest number of casualties, i.e. a total of 47 deaths.
01:27However, this number shows a decrease compared to Opsalamat 21 which recorded a total of 80,000 deaths.
01:38Opsalamat 23 recorded a total of 124,286 cases compared to 183,033 cases in Opsalamat 21 last year.
01:57This number shows a decrease and it clearly shows that the level of people's awareness and understanding
02:06towards the rules and regulations passed.
02:10Ladies and Gentlemen,
02:13The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Transport has established a total of 407 hotspots
02:24and 76 black spots throughout the country, including on the roads, highways, airports and other roads
02:33to ensure that all users can use the roads safely and comfortably.
02:40Based on the overall performance of Opsalamat 23, there is an increase in traffic flow rates
02:49believed to be directly affected by the number of registered vehicles,
02:54i.e. a total of 36.6 million vehicles until January 2025.
03:02This increase is driven by the fact that many people are taking the opportunity to travel
03:09while paying a discount toll of 50% on New Year's Eve in 2025,
03:18which is believed to contribute to the increase in traffic flow.
03:24Even so, I feel relieved because throughout Opsalamat 23,
03:31only 10,715 vehicles were involved in accidents.
03:38This shows a decrease of 1,699 vehicles,
03:43with a total of 14% compared to 12,414 vehicles recorded during Opsalamat 21,
03:53the original edition of 2024.
03:56In line with the principle of civil society establishing the welfare of the people as a priority,
04:04the Ministry of Transport practices a two-pronged approach in every act of enforcement.
04:10The implementation of Opsalamat 23 gives importance to the safety aspect of property
04:16and also the premise of seclusion left throughout the holiday season.
04:23The approach to the nature of this prevention is an effort to combine all elements of the Ministry of Transport
04:29in order to ensure the safety and security guarantees of the public forces
04:34that are involved in the policy of self-negotiation between the Ministry of Transport and society.
04:38This includes the implementation of volunteer application for Smartphone Petrol or VSP,
04:45as well as joint patrols by MPV, Mobile Petrol Vehicle,
04:51Unit for Homestead Patrol, URV, Element Balai and other units.
04:57Alhamdulillah,
05:00the joint patrols carried out have had a positive impact
05:05when throughout the duration of Opsalamat 23,
05:11only 202 cases of domestic violence were recorded
05:15compared to 265 cases reported last year
05:20with a decrease of a total of 63 cases.
05:24Not to be forgotten is the direct intervention of the Armed Forces,
05:28especially the Armed Forces,
05:31the drone unit,
05:33which also contributed to the implementation of this operation throughout the country.
