Do Police Community Support Officers make a real difference in preventing crime and improving community safety, or should we just have regular police officers with full powers instead?

00:00I'd like to think police officers were full power if they had the support of the public.
00:07It's the fact that like, oh, I don't know, and they walk away and they won't help.
00:13If you want people to help you, you have to help them. There's no two ways about it.
00:19I think there needs to be more policing at night time for women's safety.

00:27like crime stoppers and whatever, but I think I work in a bar and there's so many girls that you just see
00:34crying and drunk and there needs to be some sort of safety around the city more.
00:39It's nice to have that security, but I don't, in my opinion at least,
00:42I don't think they make a massive difference when it comes to things like drugs or knife crimes.
00:47They're very specialised in the way they operate.

00:54I was a general lady for years. I would never have thought a child would do that.
