00:00It's now viral online that a motorcycle convoy of a ride-hailing app seems to be stopping in the traffic in Manila.

00:10June Veneracion is back.

00:16This was taken from the dashcam of a motorcyclist in Manila.

00:19At the intersection, the riders of the ride-hailing app Angkas suddenly stopped.

00:25And then the convoy of ride-hailing app riders continued to pass by.

00:31The cars were forced to stop even if the traffic light was on.

00:42The motorcyclists kept on honking.

00:49But the convoy did not stop.

00:54There were even riders who got off their motorcycles to help the riders.

01:05At one point, there was a truck that was supposed to pass in the middle of the convoy.

01:13But it was blocked.

01:22And it was only passed after the convoy.

01:29Batico Serenity Sense claimed that the video of Angkas riders blocking the road is viral.

01:35The company asked for an apology in a video message.

01:38This should not have happened.

01:40And it is our lack of discipline, safety, and compliance with the traffic laws that Angkas is enforcing.

01:47I am aware of the incident and there are no excuses for our actions.

01:51I am asking for an apology to the public,

01:56to our residents, to the motorcyclists and to the authorities.

02:01I take full responsibility and we will do better.

02:05Angkas will help the authorities in the first instance of the incident.
